@DOUG HEINS Nelson class, KGV class and Queen Elizabeth class were brilliant battleships and a credit to the RN. The British had some of the greatest battleships of the war.
I did 5 Queen Elizabeth Class battleships vs 2 H-39 Class battleships and won. I did the same thing again only with Revenge Class battleships and won too.
Awkward Doggo Only because the 6-8kt actual speed differences doesn’t seem to apply in this game, in an actual true battle the Germans would have used there superior speed to get in front of the British Sqn and crossed the T. They would not have slugged it out in this fashion. The QEs and Rs would have been too slow for a major engagement against modern Battleships in the early 40s .
@DOUG HEINS Renown were quite fragile, even after serious refits they got which improved armor. Hood was better , it armour scheme was not best but it was more capable than Renowns.
@@Atom-kn3zf This is a simulation and H-39'swere never built... Iowas were good ships although whether they were better to the German design is questionable although the very good system of US Navy damage-control would possibly provide an edge in a prolonged engagement. Terminator17's suggestion has quite a bit of merit.
@cisa thao I was refering to the Iowa class of battle ship - six laid down, four launched... It doesn't matter which one the term "Iowas" refers to any or all.
Tbh the ships the Germans had were stronger. The British ships were good but they can be blown up easy and the revenge class is not really great so technically i knew the royal sovereign was not going to do good
It isn't exactly sporting to have British WWI veterans fighting modern German BB. Also, the general conception of "British ships got easily exploded" is falsifiable . Firstly, The British ships are about as well armoured as (sometimes better armoured than) the German counterpart. Secondly, most of blown up capital ships are battlecruisers, Not battleships. Thirdly, UK ships got blown up because of so many other factors , like ammunition handling, wave pattern etc. If you want to know more, you can check out @Drachinefel 's channel Hes a naval historian
@Dragon lord sad fact: never built, plus even the design was unfinished..later western germany finishes designing although the war ended.Even if they were built I think it would not do much cause after the Bismarck and Scharnhorst sank germany canceled all battleship plans and when Bismarck fired 15 inch guns its shockwave damaged the radar so if 16 inch fires..a bit of a disaster for the ship. Also when the Nelson fired its 16 inch guns the whole window of the command room smashed and the 2rd turret was uncapable of firing for an hour plus the boiler got damaged.
Me playing atlantic fleet (battle comes) oh no (me as Scharnhorst vs north Carolina) well then unlucky me (35 mins later) (me blows up north Carolina A and B turret) yes i got advantage (5mins later) i won..
Im not used to this kind of graphics considering i only played the mobile version and when u fire the shells have some sort of trail in the mobile version it doesnt😭😭🤣🤣
"There seems to be something wrong with our bloody ships today"
@Video Game Explain Renown explodeds houston we hve problem
Last British battleship:*explodes at stern and starts sinking at bow*
Me: logic
thatt's just british engineering
Flooding from front overtime?
Royal Sovereign took a pounding, Hood blew up again, and Renown really should have hid behind RS to keep her guns in the fight
Really us Brits enlist the worst gun fire directors in the whole of Nations Navys.Where Do they train them. In "BLOODY TIMBUCTHREE"
Their only one BB what's up with hood and Reown and if you are gonna have the brits go against the H-39 class give the Brits good BBs

So hard control turret.
What would happen if you did a Iowa class battleship and a Washington class battleship vs 2 H-39 battleships.
They'd sink!
No lowa was still live in museum

North Carolina like lowa
Why is the caption "3 british battleships" isnt hood a battle cruiser? And the renown too?

The revenge class was old , Slow , And a bit obsolete.

All the h-39s are extremely tough like the bismark
Tougher actually, but yes
