JJ Farley is my son's great grandfather. =) I'm so thankful for today's technology that will preserve his memory for the family. Thank you so much Mr. Gospellin for these treasured moments.

Greetings Mrs Cards and thank you for your comments. Mr Farley was the 1st national artist that I interviewed. I went to NY on the bus with my big boom box to do the interview. At the end of the interview he said "I've told you things today I've never told another living soul". I would be glad to send you the complete interview if you have a cassette player. You can email me your address at lheath614@comcast.net. God Bless

@@gospellin Good morning, I couldnt find the entire interview, only 2 parts. My dad was a gospel promoter and good friends with Mr. Farley in the 70s. I saw Mr. Farley frequently as a child and fondly remember him. How can I get the full interview? I am a Soul Stirrers and Sam Cooke collector and one of the founders of the Sam Cooke Fan Tributes of the early 200s.

Thanks for this interview ! Sam Cooke was my mothers brother, making him my uncle. I like most of my family agree Sam never left the Soul Stirrers he sang with them after going Pop and as Mr Farley said brought them on his label ! 😀 He continued to invest in them as a group until he was murdered ! Thanks again !

Hi. The music and life of Sam Cooke fascinates me. His music continues to amaze me and I've been listening to Sam for about 10 years now. If I could go back in time I'd go see Sam live at the Harlem square club and then visit PJ's on that awful night to alter the course of history. I wonder if you know what Sam's favourite music was and which songs he liked to perform the most??
