2024 07 10 Webinar How 8D Interacts with PFMEA

We utilize PFMEA as a key tool of AS13100 to identify and mitigate process risks that could lead to Customer escapes. But in saying so, we may encounter a Customer escape on a part that had a PFMEA conducted thus requiring an 8D investigation, another important AS13100 tool. An 8D investigation can lead to the identification of failure modes, causes and corrective action controls not originally part of the subject product’s PFMEA. This is where we need to update the PFMEA to assure the lessons learned are not lost. This webinar will focus on the needed actions to updating the PFMEA documents following an 8D root cause corrective action investigation.
