Winter Flying - Bringing Two Piper Warriors Back To Life

- Last year I became maintenance officer for a student run flying club at Purdue University called Purdue Pilots, Inc.
Due to school restrictions imposed in March of 2020, our airplanes have been grounded and it took us nearly a year to get an exemption to have our aircraft flying again! On this flight the PPI president, Srinath, and I take our two piper warriors for test flights to make sure they are operating well and can be released back to our club members.

Wonderful snowy views and background music!

This weather has been brutal for pilots!!!
How has the weather been down in Kansas? Over here it’s been getting really warm real fast. Our winter was over before I could blink

-15F and 12” snow a couple weeks ago to 70F for a couple days, down to 50F now and calling for snow Thursday and to top it off 3.0-4.0 earthquakes today!
Wow Kansas is really taking the brunt of some bad weather, hopefully that stuff blows over. Can’t believe you guys have earthquakes too on top of that 😅. We just got freezing rain this morning which was cool
