  • Today's video is a recap of our Fishers of Men tournament on Kentucky Lake out of Paris Landing, TN. This iconic lake and boat ramp have hosted many events, and to me it seems like KY Lake is back on track to returning! Hope you guys enjoy this one.

Great video buddy! If you guys had of boated everything you hooked, you would have had a really good bag. But it happens to everyone. I think you were on a great pattern. I really appreciate you taking the time to share your adventures. I always enjoy watching your videos! You are a very good angler. There's not a lot you can do if they're just not hooked good. As always, #AlexRobertsFishing rocks!!!

Nice video. We were just there over the weekend on the north end of the lake. It has definitely improved in the last 3 years. It's not back to what it was but the lake is coming back. We a couple 20 fish days all between 1-3#.

I want to go back and fish it again in the spring, seems like there were some good bags caught at the Toyota Series a few months ago. Looking forward to exploring it more

Just stumbled upon youre channel. I enjoyed it. I feel you on the losing fish part. I lost 3 keeper bucketmouths this past sat night in my local league tournament here in ky. Literally cost me a good check. I dont know why, but i lose more fish on a crankbait, or a spinnerbait than any other baits i use. I upgrade my treble hooks as well, but still i lose fish and dont know why. So if anyone gave you any good advice, then please let me know, because im all ears lol

      Thanks for watching
Losing more fish on the crank is kinda just part of the game in my experience. Treble hooks will lose you more fish in general, could it be your line and rod? I almost never lose fish on the blade.

Good video! You did all you could. Do you guys swap out your treble hooks? Only advice I have is get rid of those factory hooks.. if you haven’t already.. good video love it as always

Great upload, but everyone has days that are tough, but without the tough days, the rewarding days would be less rewarding, I think..😉

Thank you for the comment and for watching! I think with treble hooks we were trying to take it easy but definitely could have been. Good point though!

Which division of FOM do you fish? Any ideas for July on Old Hickory?? Only fished it in the spring 1 time 11 years ago 😂. Anyways I’ll see you on July 8th!! We are from East TN division and need 1 more tournament to make the District championship

We’ve been fishing the Tennessee Central Division this year!
As for OH in July…probably not gonna be easy. You kinda have two choices in my opinion, either find a creek with some cooler water/current and flip/frog all day OR commit to offshore ledges with your standard baits. Not sure which we’re doing yet but hopefully that helps!

The problem with losing that fish at the boat is that your partner should have been under you when netting. He was way off to the right and had no shot of netting it unless you swung it in the boat. Nothing against him, but if you are going to net a fish for a partner, Net it to where I don’t have to boat flip it.. if you have to net the fish so close to the boat where you might as well boat flip it, netting the fish is going to cause more harm than hurt. you feel me?

That’s a good point. Do you think I did a good job of this for him? Or if you watch the rest of my videos, do I do that for my other boaters? Definitely something I never want to mess up for someone else, especially in a draw style tournament.
