Legend has it Galactic Gorilla doesn't have a beard and that the hair is in fact nose hair that has been subjected to so much heavy metal it has transcended its inferior use of filtering air and transformed into a neck/chin hair cushion allowing GG to headbang harder and longer than normal human beings.
Any song that ends with a blast beat = win in my book. This is the most excited I've been for an In Flames album since Come Clarity. This is probably my favorite track they've released so far. If you told me Jesper came back and he helped write this song, I'd have no trouble believing it even though we know that's not the case. In Flames just had a darker(while being melodic) vibe when Jesper and Bjorn were doing the song writing. I mean there's so so many bands that do the whole melodic metal thing, whether it's melo-death or metalcore, but In Flames in the past always had a very unique vibe that you could tell immediately it was them before you heard any vocals, if you were familiar with their sound. This song has that same vibe. I've been listening to them since 2004 when I first got introduced to Reroute to Remain and all their prior albums, and fell in love immediately because NO ONE, not even other swedish bands, sounded like they did. It was the perfect mix of harmonized melodic guitar parts and big, wall of sound style EPIC choruses. I've missed that dearly.
It is so strange to see how bands come to their roots! I remember bangering to In Flames more than 10 years ago. I am happy to hear it now as I am more intto Deathcore now. Some nostalgia, And I hope this f*ing war will end in my Ukraine!
This took me all the way back to my favorite era of In Flames. Amazing... I'm really glad that such a promising intro was not wasted. The chorus was a bit weak to me but even that section was still interesting.
I've always been a fan of In Flames from the stuff they made in the middle of their journey, but Foregone very quickly made it to one of my favourite albums of all time
It's a nostalgia! Perhaps a fusion of In flames in Colony and Clayman. It definitely hss the sounding or style from these older albums. Just my honest opinion..
In Flames is definitely back baby. Love their new stuff. Check out Killstreak though, new deathcore song about Halo (second). Their first song was about COD, they will only release songs about games as far as I know. Worth to check them out, very low pop but ultimate quality.
To be honest, this felt pretty boring. Great job shitting on Lorna Shore, who aren't just redoing what they did 15 years ago, but less interesting and with less creative song structures. But hey, which band did people stop listening to for 6-8 years when they 'went soft'? If modern fans could deal with one 20 minute song, that's what they would have released, but that's also over half the album as singles. And Lorna Shore isn't Of Men & Men, so.. ANYWAYS. Yeah, this was like Anders fronting an In Flames cover band, and one that didn't really know what kind of music video they wanted, so they just typed in 'AI, dark, moody'. The new In Flames is them selling out their own vision because old fans want Clayman 10x and it shows. It's really just a sterile, sad version of what they think old fans MIGHT want.
thats cuz lorna shore doesnt have 20+ year of awesome material. lorna is ok but without will ramos literally 85% of their fans wouldnt give a shit about lorna my dude
I'm confused....where in his reaction did he shit on Lorna Shore? The only thing he said that could possibly be taken as a criticism is that the drumming was nothing drastically different than previous but then he went on to say that they were incredibly solid. Can fans of both bands just be fucking happy that we get phenomenal music?
Haven't been so excited for an In Flames record since A Sense Of Purpose. In Flames we trust 🤘

This is EASILY the GREATEST comment I've ever received 🤘🤣
lmao
haha, sorry for the typo btw - "GALACTICRIMINAL".
Galactic Gorilla is WAY better!! 😚👍

Love the intro and outro blast beat and whatever effect is used to sort of muffle it a little. Such a cool sound

Rumours are that Pt.2 is going to be a full blown acoustic melody and I can't wait!
They're using it as the opening track of their live shows right now.
The begining is just amazing !!
I haven't been overly excited about In Flames since Come Clarity, but these 3 new tracks are amazing!
Your voice reminds me of my favorite Disney character from the Lion King. Love your videos, brother 🩶
This makes me really happy. Such riffing.
NOW THIS ABSOLUTELY SLAPS
they have enough songs that sound great to make them a must follow
It's on the new albu.album.. it's part one of 2

Have you already checked the new Enterprise Earth - Psalms Of Agony? Blasting!
Yea this is a banger....straight fire.
I wonder what older stuff you listened to? They have a huge discography and their sound ranges from awesome to cringey
In flames from the 90s was there best
Yeah, their melodeath era is etched into Metal history, but most of their recent not so great.
Did this singer do a track with pendulum I think it was called In Flames or something
In Flames I Trust!
Will ramos is doing back flips rn
It's wild to see this being played. In Flames got me into metal in the early 2000s. This is not the heaviest song IMO. They had some bangers.
In flames is great and it's great to hear this. It brings Jester Race and Whoracle vibes with this single frfr.
🤘🤘🤘
Niiiice😏🤘🏻
PASSENGER - in reverse (official video)
Anders from in flames sidekick band.
Please react to this.
🔥🔥🔥
The intro 😂😂😂
🤘😚
Check out Lucifers Child-The Order!!
Soilwork is everyones favorite Swedes 😁
I was gonna argue Amon Amarth, Opeth, Meshuggah, Arch Enemy or even Ghost but yeah, Soilwork!
Best song they've made in years. Saw them play it live 2 weeks ago, fucking rips
😂
