My Dad was born and bred in Killybegs Patrick Dowds unfortunately he came to England just after the WW2 ,and died 25years ago he did go back to Killybegs couple of years before he died 😢
Great grandma ( 1822-1861) came from Killybegs. We visited from the States in fall of 1964 and filmed the fisherman mending their nets. I'd like to digitalize the film video and find a good home for it in the Killybegs archives. Any suggestions as to whom I'd contact there? Thanks!
The town has really come up since I lived there but good to see Hughies, The Bay View (Rogers) and Mellys are still going.

Great information about Killybegs. Well done for producing such an interesting video. Good host, no waffle, and would definitely like to visit it now!
