I bought a Mint condition 1931 17 T from the original owner a few years back. Paid the princely sum of $300. Sold it to a an elderly friend who owned a local guitar store. Her house was robbed and over 50 instruments were taken including her 1929 17T.. I sold mine to her for $300. They are very cool instruments.
Hi Jeff, Wow-$300! things have changed. I'm sorry to hear about the loss of those instruments. But, yes, it's kind of amazing that it's 87 years old and still sounds strong. This one certainly isn't close to mint!
