    I use grippers all the time, being that with my job I climb and while harnessed in I can't fall far but I like to take chances and have fun while working so worked on my grip strength. Since a kid we'd play tag in wide trees and make jumps for escape and a lot of it was grabbing and holding by one hand and it's progressed from there cause its fun. I think I could probably close it over and over.
    Looks like 1/8" coil. Most people can't without being some sort of free climber.

    I've never hit the gym consistently. I'm a pretty small/lean dude. I turned valves in the Navy for years. Then I worked manual labor a couple years before I got my degree. I eventually had a desk job with all the other younger engineers who worked out all the time. One coworker had an adjustable grip. I could do the max, about 150, with my dominate hand no sweat. Almost could do it with my non-dominant. None of the gym bros could do it. I'd always crank up the resistance to max to mess with my buddy. He hated it being maxed out. Said he wanted to work out his grip on a more manageable setting. Lol

      Just a question,since i never had a CoC hand gripper.
      For example the Heavy gripper 250lbs its the same as CoC#2?

    • @gumpster6
      @gumpster6 11 місяців тому

      @@cobrakaind3692 The Heavy Grips 250 averages 110lbs (RGC rating) and the CoC #2 averages 104lbs... so the #2 is a little easier on average. You can see the largest database of gripper ratings at cannonpowerworks - over 13000 grippers rated. It is possible to have a HG250 that is easier than a #2 since the variation is pretty wide.

      I have a Standard Au which is just below a #2. Absolute monster ex pro football player almost closed it.

      @@cobrakaind3692 Sorry so late to reply. I've never touched a Heavy Grips 250 but I looked it up at cannonpowerworks and they average 114, the CoC #2 averages 104... so they are fairly close but the HG250 is likely to be a little harder. It's also entirely possible to have a #2 that is harder than an HG250 (the range of measured grippers is pretty wide).

    I would grab a piece of paper, write closed on it, tape it onto the gripper and hand it back.
