@@MORE4x4_auyeah I’m surprised the weight is only 3067kg , I’m guessing that’s no fuel or people. I have weighed a couple of stock Y62’s . 2 people , full tank , tow bar , straight from the showroom 1540 front axle , 1460 rear axle = 3000kg
Full of fuel no passengers. Thanks for tuning in. We’re just about to release another build video that’ll provide some context and you might be surprised about the result.
Yes I am getting good value in checking out all of your videos. Looking forward to visiting the workshop next Wednesday & see some Y62 builds. @@MORE4x4_au
Does the front bull bar enhance the inherent safety zones all ready engineered into the Patrol for the front passengers, including crumple zone performance, and is this formally support by Nissan the OEM, therefore not voiding any warranty or safety outcomes in the event of an accident?
@@MORE4x4_auHas there been any formal crash testing that proves bull bars improve the inherent safety of the vehicle? I can’t find this anywhere, and I can’t find any OEM endorsement of this. Thanks
Can you add bushrails to this bullbar? I like that its not bulky, I need protection without the weight for off-roading. Great channel, very Informative.
G'day, Thanks for tuning in and for commenting. There's nothing pre-made to do this but with enough nouse and determination, anything is possible. I'm happy that you're getting value out of the channel, thank you. Aaron Mitchell
Does the snorkel fit flush with the top of the car ? What height is it from the ground to top of snorkel please ? Want to see if it will fit in my garage
No it sits above the roof height but not by much. The measurement is pointless because there’s other factors that affect that including ride height, tyre size etc
@@MORE4x4_au I’m in Wollongong, I have contacted your website early this evening about getting a quote on airbags. Hopefully you can take a look when I get the airbags done.
Sweet thanks More4x4 I have the tough dog 300lg constants but thinking I might go the OME 400kg due to rear weight and to get the car level again once van is hooked up but was worried about the hard ride

Weapon. Congrats. That’s a lot of gear for only 3067Kg. Beasts like this put a smile on my dial.
Yep there’s just over 300kg of gear on there. Doesn’t look it though hey!

Very interesting with all the weights. It is handy to know weights with all the builds.

The bar is designed to be the difference between driving away from an incident or not! I can’t comment on OEM policies.

Yes bars need to undergo testing to be compliant
Where do I find this testing information?
Contact the manufacturer of the bar you’re interested in installing would be your best bet

Do you guys have a 4WD Club Tourer spec options for your builds?
Adventure tourer?
Hey guys what spring rate did you guys upgrade to for the addition of the drawers?
400s buddy
Cheers guys sorry just one other question with the total weight you said 3067kg was that fully fueled?
Yes buddy

My stock 2023 til has bump steer on it. What would be causing it? It’s frustrating
Is it lifted?
@@MORE4x4_au no stock straight from factory. I get the steering shimmy over bumps. Thought it might be something to do with hmbc system

What’s the ball weight of your van?
Hey guys what springs did you guys end up increasing it to from previous please as I run a fairly similar setup? Cheers

Your intuition sounds good but you might want to check with your GVM provider to make sure they’re compliant
