On my rm85 enduro riding, up a rock face bike fell down caught over 4 metres worth of air and fell straight on a flat rock, split the shroud and squashed the radiator, craziest thing was that it never leaked and I only jsut replaced it, used for 4 years after that
It wasn’t me but it was a freind I was with, we were playing around in the woods and he started getting roost when he hit a corner way too fast and lost control, hit a rut and flew straight into a tree. And a broken branch right next to it miraculously smashed through his left radiator. He got up when we got to him and we just saw his bike dumping coolant all over the ground. He was able to ride it back but it had some heat damage.
Fella fell off infront of me and i ran his bike over, smashed the rad and my plastics up, bent the brace in half, smashed rad, twisted it, broke fins off, over 400 quid of damage😂
I absolutely love the fact that you take a discarded item that most people would write off (ie trash). Then, you take it and make it functional and show all your steps.
I've had a few hang ups locating replacement radiators for my 01 RM. I ordered a billet set and the mounting holes definetely didn't work....then I watched some fix-it vids and decided to try JB Weld on a small leak; it held pressure but looked a little bush-wacked for my restored bike....I finally ordered a second set of billet ones from a different supplier and they worked/looked pretty trick! Radiators and the little clip nuts at the bottom for the plastic shrouds are the cheesiest parts on this bike, with a close second belonging to the CDI mount inside the air box, thord has to be either the original wrap-under front brake cabke o r the seat bolts that rarely line up without pressure one direction or another. Over all these RMs are amazing bikes that handle fantastic! So glad you've been healthy and taken time to shape up your new shop -- Keep up the great work, partner !
It’s good to see you still have some kid in you! When I saw that plug shoot out, I immediately thought it would be fun to see how far you can make it shoot, and you did not disappoint. Real men never truly grow up! Or at least I know for sure I haven’t grown up. My wife tells me all the time that I’m her biggest kid lol. Have fun, stay young!
i’m glad your healthy and back at it, Cam! I’m in Alaska so i won’t be able to enter for this sick build but that doesn’t stop me from learning from your expertise and watching every video!! ✌️
Glad to hear you’re doing well and the leukemia hasn’t come back, brother I want to thank you for the book recommendations you gave me back in 2019 that helped my sister fight AML. It’s been 3 years since I was her stem cell donor and she followed those books you recommended, all of her check ups have came out great. Wish you the best, and once again thank you for your help.
Radiator stories? Okay, my radiator start leaking after a crash in training. So straightened it out and epoxy glued the leak. Baked it the oven after the glue had partially set. Had a race next day and this was a Saturday. Long before Internet and courier service delivering express to your door next day (Eighties). So, The radiator never leaked again :) This was an RM125 - 85. Bought brand new for about $1600with today's value. (I think I have one picture of it on my IG with the same name as in my YT) I am 57 now and still ride, enduro bikes, to old for MX hehe. Thanks for the upload and happy that your medical is all good! Greetings from Norway!
Cam💪🏻! Keep putting yourself and family before theTube. We aren’t going anywhere and are happy when you can put out a vid. Glad you’re doing well! Grip it and rip it!
Cam and Austin. BRoBuiLds. both have keen attention to detail and great craftsmanship. Keep it up boiz. God Bless You Cam and Family on your health. Take care.
Congrats on the remission. That is so awesome. Thanks for vetting back at the videos as well. I know the broke to built ones are just around the corner. Yeah baby. I so wanted to be in this round but due to health issues I was side lined. Its all good tho. I am almost healed and will do next round if yall choose to do it again.
Great video, first time iver ever seen radiator needlenose pliers, definitely getting a set. Thx!! Also the blue square thingy is actually called a square or carpenter's square. 😁
That was awsome. It was cool to see you testing the braces with a sledge hammer and they held up well. Just proof from all the products i purchased from you due to quality and great customer service i see a potential purchase for those braces in the future for a yz 250 woods bike build
These Builds & Restoration’s Are Artwork, Plus I Love Learning More About The Craft An How To Care For Our Motorcycles. Thank You Cameron For Teaching The Community These Wonderful Things. 🙏🙏 🤙🏽🤙🏽😃😃👍🏽👍🏽
I'm glad you're looking good. I've been watching your videos for some time and I learned a lot. The videos keep getting even better. I couldn't stop laughing at the end. It's great to put some humor into it. Great job!
Coolest brothers ever! Took me a while to realize but I have a jdm car, toyota truck, and a cr125. Which happens to be the things y'all specialize in lol. Keep it up!
I was surprised at how much that radiator could be twisted and still held. I’ve never attempted to correct a radiator. I’ve straightened fork tubes - a tedious job on a press. Thanks for the interesting and helpful video!
Cam the reason that the CDC is placed in the air box is so it doesn't get splashed with water. Of course they are sealed but the connectors are a possible trouble spot.
There's no way to avoid it all, but use a good clean respirator around fumes and gloves at all times when working with any grease or chemicals. I'd say the most important thing for me has been detox. Sweating will get the garbage out and keep you clean. Saunas are a game changer
We're right here with you brother.. rollin through the punches righ here with you brother. YOU DO YOU we'll be here WHENEVER you can upload! We love you brother and appreciate all you have done for our sport. Stay healthy and happy that's the most important thing. We'll watch all your content because it's the BEST! love your show buddy! PS. my radiator story is I was navigating a steep down hill and some rocks tripped me up. Thats when I dropped my 2016 CRF 450R on some rocks and folded my radiator. Luckily I was always watching your vids and I came across the one where you show us how to straighten up a radiator with soem 2x4's. Worked like a dream.
Hi Cameron. I have an 05 RM 250 2st. I replaced the inner clutch hub and clutch basket. Gears worked fine. Started the bike to go for a ride and no gears. You put it in 1st let the clutch out and nothing it’s like the bike is in neutral. What can I check?
On your hydraulic press cam fit a quick release plastic nob on the pressure release part it's so much easier than useing the metal bar that comes with it & use caster wheels to take out the side slopp Lol 😂
What is the best way to get companies to sponsor a two-stroke bike build? I have watched all your videos and it has inspired me to completely rebuild my 04 rm125 and start a Moto channel!
Glad you’re inspired from the videos! You have to prove yourself before anyone will be interested. Post a ton of quality videos and people will start to take note. And when you do get a sponsor, provide as much value as possible and go above and beyond.
Nice video man! Can you make those engine case stickers for other bikes? I have a few bikes that could use it. 95cr250, 17kx450f, 20kx250 and a 16xcf350

Head on with a tree at 80kmh, think that’s like 40mph, snapped triple clamps was the worst part broken 🤣

The broken radiator still looks good when you present it like that on rotating wheel 😂

Отличное техническое решение, отличная работа!

Yesssss new rebuild vid
Техническая часть очень хорошо!!!ЛАЙК!!!
Cam the reason that the CDC is placed in the air box is so it doesn't get splashed with water. Of course they are sealed but the connectors are a possible trouble spot.
What is a must for a shop owner to take care of your health when it comes to chemicals and exhaust?
There's no way to avoid it all, but use a good clean respirator around fumes and gloves at all times when working with any grease or chemicals. I'd say the most important thing for me has been detox. Sweating will get the garbage out and keep you clean. Saunas are a game changer
Let's gooo your back!🔥🔥
Right on brother!
I'm happy you're doing better man you're looking good too 🙏💪‼️
I was mildly entertained by the therapy session until you pulled it behind the ranger....that was some funny shit right there!
Love your videos glad you are doing well and healthy🤟
I use small zip ties threw the fins to straighten cooling fins out.
glad to see u are not having problems with the big C.,that was to funny.

Well buddy, I will be anxious to see you go for a rip on the RM!! Long time coming. Then you will build something else awesome maybe for your kid?
Hi Cameron. I have an 05 RM 250 2st. I replaced the inner clutch hub and clutch basket. Gears worked fine. Started the bike to go for a ride and no gears. You put it in 1st let the clutch out and nothing it’s like the bike is in neutral. What can I check?
あなたの動画を楽しみに待っていました。体調が良くて嬉しいです。また次の動画を楽しみにしています。ゆっくり休んで下さい。
How do you repair a half crushed radiator inlet or outlet tube on a dirt bike.
you have the cabinet for it , you should convert it to vapor blasting!
On your hydraulic press cam fit a quick release plastic nob on the pressure release part it's so much easier than useing the metal bar that comes with it & use caster wheels to take out the side slopp Lol 😂
Already back on one of your videos needing your help.. R.I.P bike god 😎
Praise God brother! Healed and whole. Wish all the radiations from these rippas weren't all bent🤣 The kiddo's love bending them up!
So glad to see you buddy!
My 07 yz 125 won’t shift past 3rd gear. Any idea what it is before I tear it apart?
Dry ice blasting is the best for cleaning rads
I just pulled a fully bent rad of my yz250fx. No leaks so I'm going to try this and keep as a backup! Fingers crossed...
All the best! Thanks for checking out the video
Hey cam, you should make a 2nd placetrophy for a consolation prize out of that radiator. 😂😂😂
Great to see you again .
Now that radiator is ready for ebay, and priced at almost the cost of a brand new oem one. 😊
Nice jokes I enjoyed it ! That radiator didn’t have a chance 🤫😂
✊💨💨
"Blue square thing" is a framing square😎

Sometimes the vehicle designers build things to bend rather than break (themselves or attachments)
Nice video man! Can you make those engine case stickers for other bikes? I have a few bikes that could use it. 95cr250, 17kx450f, 20kx250 and a 16xcf350
I learned that in some cases heat does help as well
hey, cam, new here, I enjoy watching your videos with great tips and tricks for sure. also being a contractor. that "blue square" you called is a framing square. lol, keep up the good work and videos.
Do you have a link for the Radiator pilers?
