The best part of this deck is I still have my paper Worldgorger dragon I cracked from a pack in 4th grade that confused me. Rood is such a great pilot. The level of value he can get out of these decks. It's like watching Sean White do olympic half pipe but with Reanimator decks. The layman can tell he's better than your average bear. Thanks for playing this deck today! I wanted to see it in action again.
Worldgorger is a determistic loop basically 100% of the time cuz once u bin archon u can stack AD/Dance on top with continued surveil triggers. Then once you swap the AD/Dance over to the archon of cruelty it will draw you into the 2nd animation spell for GG. Atraxa can do the same thing to draw ur entire deck
Yeees.. Missed a few chances to win with the dragon. It also wins through bridge. I also don't you tapping lands during the dragon flicker to get extra mana. Once the dragon starts flickering the surveil and extra land used to animate dead etc you make mana and surveil your deck till there is an archon in the bin and an dance/animate is on top. Then rather then bring back dragon you bring back archon which draws the next animate. Since you now should have plenty of mana you can animate the dragon back and continue the flicker till the opponent is dead.
13:25 Don't know why you didn't Cabal Therapy for Surgical Extraction there. If they cast it targeting troll, they won't be able to reanimate it the next turn
@@gojoostgo the Worldgorger loop is deterministic with a single surveil land and one other land, so it's able to do that without diluting the deck with an Oracle. You float mana every time and surveil until you have archon in GY and a reanimate on top, then you bring back archon instead of dragon, reanimate the dragon, then just loop the archon. I think I may have messed that up in one game in the video tho
Rood has his lands laid out very specifically. The surveils are keep to the combo and to help dig in his sideboard for that combo. The combo is very easy to assemble.
We used to win with Piranha Marsh😅. Now you just surveil until there's an Archon in the gy and either an Animate or Dance on top of your deck. Then you stop flickering Dragon, grab Archon instead which draws the Animate which begins the loop again for infinite Archon triggers

Rood has been slaying it for sure
Worldly tutor (look at the art!) is thematic gold with world gorger dragon, and is a build your own entomb with surviel lands
Love the text editing 😂👍🏻
I either laugh about it or cry haha

Couldn’t your opponent on round 4 game 3 have reanimated griselbrabd turn1?
Certainly looks that way

It's only love for the red dragon
For the conclusion - is the deck on average faster than Nadu? If it isnt i dont see a reason why to play it (in paper).
It is a faster deck than Nadu for sure
I always wonder why lists like these don't simply put in a single Thassa's Oracle. Seems like a rather easy way to steal wins with a Worldgorger loop.

Fair enough, I suppose the failure rate is so slim that Oracle doesn't make a meaningful contribution.
Can add an infinit damage combo if you add one copy of Mount Doom to the mana base.
@@tristanlakeman13 infinite archon of cruelty triggers is probably decent enough, albeit a touch harder to string together
@@crucible_of_words True. But adding one land for an extra out seems nice.
