Вставка
- Опубліковано 15 сер 2024
- This video covers:
- How the universe is structured
- Planets orbit a central star to form solar systems
- Then solar systems are grouped in galaxies
- And finally the universe contains billions of those galaxies

Thank you so much! You’ve helped me so much over the course of 2 years and I’m so grateful. I wish you all the best with your channel.
night before my gcse words cannot describe how appreciative i am to this channel thank you so much for saving so many lives
plus the local group!
Thank you for the video I'm an IGCSE student now and it was a really big help!
Happy to help!
If you’d like to practise what's covered in this video, check out the lesson on the Cognito platform: cognitoedu.org/coursesubtopic/p2-gcse-aqa-h-t_9.02 - it's totally free, and has been built to make learning and revision as easy as possible. The main features are:
- Lessons organised by topic, only the lessons relevant to your specific exam board and tier are shown.
- Automatic progress tracking. Progress bars tell you what you’re doing well at, and what you need to spend some time on.
- Practise quizzes so you can test your knowledge. You can quiz yourself on any combination of topics you like.
- A huge number of fully-hinted questions that take you step-by-step through some of the trickiest calculations & concepts.
- A comprehensive bank of past exam papers, organised both by year, and also by topic.

This helped so much more than my school did in a month's time, thanks a lot!
only problem is, now I'm having an existensial crisis because of how small I am in the grand scheme of things
I gotta have a existential crisis now thanks for the reminder

Bruh
cant lie i was thinking that too
Fun fact: In Freesciencelessons' video on the solar system, he really tried hard not to say Uranus. You should check that out and also check out his other videos. He and cognito are my grade savers.
Any Chance of a video on the expansion of the universe, steady state versus expanding, red shift doppler etc and one on the origin of the universe?
@Miles Black It is in the spec, they've already got a video out now about the red shift
thank you for making all these videos!! they really help me a lot
he should be verified
- 🪐 Planets have satellites, which can be natural (like the moon) or artificial (man-made).
- 🌌 Galaxies are massive collections of billions of stars, each with their own solar system, held together by gravity.
- 🛰 The solar system consists of eight planets with elliptical orbits, asteroids between Mars and Jupiter, and comets made of ice and dust.
- 🌠 The universe is a vast expanse of mostly empty space, scattered with galaxies, each with billions of stars.
I love your art styleee
Could you guys please make a video about electromagnetic induction🙏🏾thanks
Hi Neema, here's a link to that video: ua-cam.com/video/pkzY7QfTowM/v-deo.html
Great video to watch .
NO WAY WE ARE THE ONLY ONES IN THIS UNIVERSE, DID YOU SEE HOW MANY GALAXIES THEIR ARE😮😮😮
nah rlly ofc there's tons of galaxies were you looking and not listening
the part of physics whihc i enjoy learning aout most...r
Because you guys watch Sci-fi
My bro is putting Teacher out of commission😄😂 amazing my dude
Btw we do need to know the order of the stars its in the Edexcel specification
When we did this in class people were asking what’s the sun (this is a top set class)
Meanwhile I am sat there looking like Einstein 😂 because I said it’s a star
What am I even doing in school sign me up for a degree
Which exam board do you follow?
Is it AQA or Edexcel?
Check the description
Lets note that this info is by 2020 only, discoveries can still me made ;)
Thank you! This helped me understand my astronomy class :)
Thanks Sharon, glad it helped!
your a teacher?
sometimes galaxies can colide and merge aswell
What's an eliptical orbit?
It means the orbit has an oval-shaped path, rather than a circular one :)
Thank you😊
i think its smth like the milankovitch cycle
An orbit that's elliptical 😂😂😂
THANK YOU!!!!
Fun fact: In Freesciencelesson's video on solar system, he actually tried hard not to say Uranus that way.
Videos are fantastic!! Thank you very much!! But this video is about the Universe and what it is made of, not about the origin and the future of it.
The title of the video is actually: How the Universe is made of Galaxies, Solar Systems, Stars and Planets. So I think the content of the video itself matches its title, because it explains the different parts of the universe, and where they lie.
Thanks you helped me a lot
Is this for the 2023 syllabus?btw I love your explanations and animations:]
Yeah it's in the IGCSE curriculum,so you can probably refer to this for your exams (sorry if I'm too late)😅
Im never going to mature and not laugh at uranus.
this video was soooo insightful, thank you!
Thanks
Thanks that's help me a lot !!
nice thumbnail
Fetus Deletus
Sat tel all lol😊
this is the only interesting physics topic in the entire spec 😂
All because of Uranus 😂😂😂
