    Thank you for the review I just ordered this stand. I'm still in the market for my 4th monitor but I wanted to have a stand here before I purchased one,

      @@edwardk12687 I bought it on Amazon. I'm not surprised they are hard to find. A lot of things aren't being produced at the moment.

      I had no idea that I would be living in front of mine for 4 months on work from home not long after installing it. Using it for work interferes with only one monitor. All the others have dual input. Enjoy your new install.

    Great video and very well explained with an extroadinary amount of usefull detail. I've been researching a quad mount to add to my 2400x900 sit stand desk. I'll have 3 x 27" curved monitors for the bottom. My only concern is the desk is located against my wall and the side monitor arms look like they need a fair amount of overhang on the rear of a desk. Would that be the case?

      Today my left monitor is 3” behind the post and right is 5”. You can draw it out or break out the scissors cardboard and pins to model it. Use knuckle of the arms… the center of the center right knuckle is 3.75” in front of the back edge of the center post and two inches to the right of the center post center to center. The arms are 16” center to center. The back surface of the monitors is 2.75” in front of the arm knuckle. The back of the center monitor is 2.5” in front of the knuckle.
      The distance forward and angle of your monitors will determine your offset. The left side is a mirror image.

      When laying out Your curved monitors on paper they are just a rectangle meeting at the front edges and the bracket in the back center. So once you know the depth and width, draw a rectangle and then add a curve front corner to front corner and touching the back center.

    Hello @Always Tinkering, (and commenters)
    With a 32ish inch in the middle and three 27ish inch monitors can i mount the side monitors top corners connected to the top corner of the center bottem screen so that all the top of the monitors align.And after these years how reliable has it been.
    Also I want to mount to monitors as high as possible (i am tall sitting) Will the side monitors be able to turn at the size.
    And finally in the furute coudl I do the same but with all 32 inch monitors.
    It might be in the video but english isn't my first language so I find it hard to understand when it's spoken. (reading is fine)
    Thank you even if you can't hlep me.

      Aligning the top corners would not be impossible. It is going to depend on where the mounts are on your monitors and if you would need some adapter plates. My center 32" monitor is at the lowest position of the adjustment (relative to the side arms). So to adjust my side monitors up the 8cm or so would require the side monitors to have adapter plates.
      As for turning the side monitors. You probably cannot swing them. To get the two 32" in the center my top monitor bracket is at the highest position. That means the lower side arms cannot go any higher.
      I now have two 32" HD monitors in the center and the same monitors on the side. I have used them every day since just after installing them.

    Hello nice video, my two left monitors are not in line with my center monitor, any ideas?

    • @alwaystinkering6972
      @alwaystinkering6972  5 місяців тому +1

      I would assume they are not all identical monitors with the mount holes in the same spot on each monitor.
      The center monitor has the largest adjustment range of the three. If you cannot get them to your liking then some type of plate on the side monitors or the center monitor to increase the offset would likely be the option available.

    Can you attach 3 27" monitors side by side with this stand?

    • @alwaystinkering6972
      @alwaystinkering6972  2 роки тому +1

      Should be no problem. The side arms will bend in and back to meet the edges and still give you the ability to angle them.

    • @alwaystinkering6972
      @alwaystinkering6972  4 роки тому

      Benq’s website says that monitor has a 100x100 vesa mount so it would mount direct in any position without an adapter. zowie.benq.com/en/product/monitor/rl/rl2455.html

    • @Bendigo1
      @Bendigo1 3 роки тому

      I have the 6monitor version, it is pretty sturdy but there definitely is some wobble, because physics. For the price it is a really good stand, just requires some fiddling to get things just right.
