    I applaud your work...
I observed tho that you have your array of 60 panels in sets of 15, i assume its 15 panels to one mppt, but how did you achieve that pls? Given the system is a 48v system and am assuming the solar panels are 35voc

Nice rooftop installation. Could you please tell me what have you guys used to mount the panels on that zinc sheet roof???

Good try but you would rather go with LiFeO4 batteries

Poor wires management on the roof, The PV wires are not supposed to touch the metal roof. They should have been properly attached and routed underneath channel using suitable clips.

In 2019 you installed Lead Acid batteries? Why?

I don't seem to understand you? Is there anything wrong with lead Acid batteries? Or you think Lithium batteries or other technologies could have been used? Whatever is used for an installation depends on the design. Also, take note that the prices of different battery technologies vary.

@@victorajayi2614 The lifespan and load capacity of lead acid chemistry is extremely poor. Actually when you factor lifespan and load capacity LFP batteries, you will discover that lead acid chemistry is extremely expensive. Remember with Lead acid you are limited to 50% capacity of the battery. LFP you have 100 of the capacity. So you need two lead acid for LFP. The lifespan of lead acid is at most 3 years. LFP can give you 15 years and still be at 80%

@@caniceonuoha I use lead acid batteries and they work just fine. Have been using them for over 5 years now because I know how to take care of them. My friend has had his for much longer. As Victor Ajayi said it depends on design and price. I would have loved to buy LFP batteries but the initial cost is very prohibitive. If you are a millionaire then by all means go for the LFP batteries, but unfortunately not all of us fall into that category. My batteries never fall below 50% because I have a larger solar array that keeps them well charged. My goal has been not to pay electricity bills and the lead acid batteries have helped me achieve that!

it is frustrating that u never say what it will cost in your presentation. How on earth does one even contemplate the installation when i got no idea what its gonna cost me?

Your statement of the 10KV Inverters being connected in PARALLEL, cought my attention. Two 10KV Inverters connected in PARALLEL, produce an output of 5KV, and not a 20KV. Two 10KV Inverters connected in SERIES, on the other hand, have an output of 20KV.

      He said KVA not KV.
So he is talking about energy and not voltage. Be it parallel or series Energy at 100% efficiency remains the same. So he is very correct.

    • @Nur__

it will still give him the same amount of energy regardless or series or parallel connection. Also he said KVA not KV.

THIS IS STILL BACK TO PONT 1, BATTRIES EVERYWHERE, HOW DO U CHARGE THE BATTERIES? AND WHATS THE LIFE SPAN OF THOSE BATTERIES , WHATS THEIR LOAD CAPACITY AND WHATS THE COST OF EACH? CAN AN ORDINARY MAN AFFORD THIS ? NOOOOOO, SO ITS USELESS
