Interesting but confusing installation. Why use the Fronius pv inverter and what appears to be a Victron charge controller at the same time!? Are you doing DC and AC coupling at the same time or the pv inverter and the charge controller are connected to different solar arrays?
From personal experience, a stand alone charge controller, pv charginf is useful when for one reason or the other the fronius can't work. Have in mind that a PV inverter needs a present power supply to work with.
@@leviahamefula3994 What I meant was the battery inverter can invert 48VDC to 240VAC/50Hz, and use that to provide reference to the PV inverter in case of a grid outage. That way, the PV inverter has reference to keep operating and making power, even when the grid is down. At least that's how other grid-tied battery inverters do it when they are working alongside a PV inverter (also known as "islanding").
Excellent video bud. Just what I was looking for. I also have the fronius primo 5 grid tie inverter but would love the option to use power when grid is down. I guess I just need to add a victor microplus and a victron smart charger + batteries? Thanks again
