This is a great video. Thanks for the upload. If I am noting this right then the DR4088RB RBUS version would work with my white Z21? Would there be any benefit in upgrading to the black Z21?
hi James Greeting from down under sunshine coast... Please can you direct me... Does the railcom version of the Digikeijs, decoder use railcom and therefore provide loco ID direction etc. On the z21... I assume the Rocco one can do this... Thanks very much for your advice and great videos Norbert
Thanks for the Video... If you could shed some light on this please, The DR4088LN with a DR5000, Can I use the z21 App only to show detection, which profile would I use.. Thanks In Advance
Hi always good to see you show how to do things, 1 question can you adapt rolling stock to be detected by the Detection devices as I have seen 1 gent who solders a SMD Diode to the outer end axles to make a circuit
Hello, my name is Wolfgang Radermacher and i find your video super about the "Digikeijs" LN Module. I like to by futurewise the Digikeijs modules because I do use Loconet modules from Uhlenbrock on my ESU Ecos 2 via L.Net Converter. I like to know? Is it possible to programm the Digikeijs LN Module with my Ecos 2 ? Please help if possible? Take care Wolfgang.
Hi and thanks for your answer, Yes I have it connected to the Ecos L.Net Converter, but how do I select it, because I'm only able to search for Uhlenbrock Modules via Product Number e.g. #63350/#63340... and I do not find the "Digikeijs" LN-Products?
Wolfgang Radermacher hello you don’t need to search for it all all. You just program by pressing the button and then telling it the feedback start address and how many output you have on the DR4088LN so basically 16. You use accessories address to set this. That’s it.
Well done James, thanks for your patience! I think I understand now, whatever you do, Please make sure this video stays up till I've finished my layout. Lol
Hi, Can I use the DR4088 R-bus version for simple magnetic reed switch detection with black Z21 ? Also, I'm a bit confused as to why you had to use an accessory (turnout etc) to give the detection sections an address and then duplicate it with the actual occupancy detector. Cheers Alan
Thanks for the reply, when you say "grounded unit", is that the DR4088 RB ? where do you connect the other side of the reed switch (the side not connected to the DR4088) Cheers
@@alanoes1 Hi Alan, Do You know how to connect this reed switch (like roco geoline)? I dont know how to connect power supply or groud for DR4088 and this reed switch. If You can help - please write answer, I cannot find this solution Regards Marcin

Hi I am using the dr4088ln modules and the Z21 black and the new Z22 app do you know if its the same way you program it

great video. could you do one with loconet programming signals eg Uhlenbrock 63410 . Thanks Ralph.
Bonjour, sur quel port de la z21 avez vous raccordé le module loconet? merci beaucoup pour votre réponse
This is a really handy overview, thank you. What gauge of wire do you recommend for for the wires heading off from the module to the track? Thank you.
CAT5 cable is the best quality copper you can get.

Hello yes if you put a resistor or diode just so there is some current draw then will detect your wagons.
Cheers just need to get back into modelling more than just stationary models

Wolfgang Radermacher hello yes if you have it connected to your Loc-net converter yes.

Thanks, OK than I sould try it later on. I need to by a modul first.
Wolfgang Radermacher we have in stock.

Did you have an opportunity to test DR5088RC with Z21 and ECOS (through L.Net converter)?
Konrad Malkowski please see email I sent you.
So do you know if the DR5088RC is working with the Z21? thanks!

Alan Overton hi it just uses accessory address to set the feedback unit. And yes if you use the grounded unit you can use with reed switches.

Can you daisy chain 2 of these boxes to have 32 detection points? good video btw
N Gauge England -Synthematix- hello yes you can chain them up together yes.
