Hi can you help ? i think im going to take the digikeijs route using train controller software , there seams to be six types of DR4088 devices DR4088LN loconet DR4088RC Railcom , DR4088RB R-BUS, DR4088CS, DR4088GND and and DR4088OPTO and up to five boosters plus can any of the digikeijs devices control signals
Why do you have to start the address at 17, why not start at 1 ? Also if using the DR4088 and the DR4088LN together do you need to have the DR5000 ? (I would like to use the Roco Z21 as my controller).
Andy Gibson hi yes you can use with the Z21 the loconet unit. And you don’t have to start at address 17 any more as the configuration now in the DR5000 has changed.

How do you connect the dr4088CS directly to te dr5000 and track? and will it work with traincontroller gold? instructions for these units are horrid
