Someone in that chat window over there remarked that there was "surely a LOT of drama in the royal family". Well, here's my take on that, after my 60 years of living and working on this good Earth. Every family, royal or not, has its drama. Every family has its quirky, fun, loveable, Kind, mean, contemptable, eccentric and just problematic/difficult members. When you have a mix like that, there's drama. What might not automatically occur to mind is the fact that the royal family is not just a family, but a business (aka "The Firm"). That fact has, historically, devastated the lives of both natal members and "outsiders" (Diana, for example) alike. It can be hard to take!! Well, in my own work life, over 35+ years, there was a TON of workplace drama. This consisted of various workers who were manipulative, (toxically so) ambitious, jealous and just plain BAD, who caused problems and bad relationships between co-workers. Well, the Royal Family has all that in one place. Additionally, they have the media constantly following them at every step, hoping to get or create a marketable ($$) story that they can distort and capitalize on to sell. It doesn't matter if it is true or not and that, too, causes problems. I ask everyone....please try not to be so critical of this family. They're dealing with a difficult situation under difficult circumstances. For myself, I wish them peace, comfort and love during their time of grief. May Prince Philip rest in peace after a job well done. My heartfelt sympathies, especially, to Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II, as she endures and processes what must be, her profound grief.
@@cocoaorange1 I would’ve been very devastated if they weren’t separated and did fight during their grandfathers funeral. Prince Philip would’ve lost it at them if he saw it all. @@nicolelawless3199 I think the Queen would have banished both to the Tower or lock them up in Big Ben if they did that. I am joking, but you never know!
St George's Chapel is truly beautiful inside. Everywhere there are burial places of former Kings, Queens, Princes, Princesses. You are surprised. In the Quire, where the Royal Family sat today, is buried King Henry VIII and his third wife Jane Seymour, along with King Charles I.
26:10 - Take a glance at the floor, and under that stone laid into the floor marks the burial place of King Henry VIII and his third wife Jane Seymour. Amazing to actually walk over the final resting place of Henry the Eighth
A very well deserved rest in peace dear Prince Philip. So very sad to see the Queen alone, the first time in her monarchy to be without her true love. Long live the Queen.
I have respected Philip my whole life. He was an educated and brave man who stood behind the queen for over 70 years. May he rest in peace. Philip would have been a prince whether or not he had royal blood. GOD SAVE THE QUEEN!
I still find it odd that Elizabeth is referred to as Queen of England, especially by Americans. That is not one of her titles. She is Queen of the United Kingdom of Great Britain, Northern Ireland, Wales and her other realms.
RIP....z"l. Condolences to the Royal Family from an American whose origins are English, Scottish, Welsh and Irish (86%.) I take great pride in my heritage and love the Royal Family. Prince Phillip always took care of his wife Her Majesty and his family. He will be missed. God Save The Queen.
Nanny has been right by me as I’m grieving for Prince Philip still and I can’t get away from the grief because when I’m out it loves to creep in and I tell everyone I’m okay when I’m not. Now the grief was with me while partying at my mums friends house and I celebrated Prince Philip ms life rather than be with everyone else I love, very emotional I found it
Prince Harry still has substantive military ranks (major in the Army, lieutenant commander in the Royal Navy and Squadron Leader in the RAF). The rank he lost is Captain General Royal Marines (honorary appointment and the equivalent of a Field Marshal or Major General). He can't wear an uniform, because after giving up royal duties, he officially retired from the military (usually, even after leaving active service, men who carry royal duties aren't retiring and they are promoted at the same time as their contemporaries) and doesn't have the right to wear it anymore.
The fact that my brain will literally decompose and die when the 2 of my cats are gone and imagining living with ur partner for 70 years and him leaving u is just sad and very scary
I could’ve lost my dog yesterday just 8 months after Jude died aged 11 but she died very ill and I didn’t want to go through with that again with Rosie. I was stressing so much that it made my grief over Prince Philip 10x worse. I even told mum I’m missing him but she went the other way
You can’t say Philip wanted this day to come but you can’t say he also didn’t want this day to come as well. He had the biggest hand in his funeral,he wanted no fuss, no big ceremony, just a simple yet ceremonial funeral. The hearse was built almost by himself just for this, similar to Union Pacific 4141 for George H.W. Bush in a way. I think that Covid somewhat helped with not having to big of a fuss, but I don’t think he wanted his wife to be alone in the chapel. Well, at least they both can enjoy heaven together, and he can be with most if not everyone in his family. I wish the Navy was the one who carried his coffin and had a bigger role because of his Navy service, or the Marines, but it still works. 3 years later, a lot of us far and wide miss you Philip, may you continue to Rest in Eternal Heavenly Peace.
To understand how long Queen Elizabeth's relationship and marriage to Prince Phillip was, let's do some counting: Phillip first met Elizabeth in 1934, when he was 8. They met again in 1939 when Elizabeth was 13 and Phillip was 18. That's when their courtship started. They got married in 1947. So they first met a year BEFORE my father was born, started dating when my dad was 4 years old, and married when my mom was five years old (she was born in 1942). So they have been together longer than my father has been alive (d. 2006 at the age of 71) and longer than my mother has been alive (she's 79). To add to the amazement, as of 2020, 65.4% of the world population are aged 64 and under. That means Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Phillip have been together before *65% of the world population WERE EVER EVEN BORN.* Time is fascinating.
When a country preserves customs and traditions they seem to have so much integrity and inspiration from doing so. Everyone respected their fellow man and work to inspire others to be their 👌 best! Queen Elizabeth often reminded the people they were all equal in God's eyes. 💫💫💫🖤🖤🖤❤️🔥🖤🖤🖤💫💫💫. RIP. Now looking back at his funeral 2017/ Queen Elizabeth funeral 2022 it seems like they were always meant to be with us. Now they are together forevermore! ❤️ 💯❤💫💫💫💫💖💝💫💫. The great memories will sustain loved ones left behind! 😚🤗😚🥲! All over the world! 🖤🤍🖤🤍🖤🤍🤍🖤🖤❤️🔥

COVID regulations are in place by law in the UK. She sat alone as tens of thousands of other widow and widower has in the UK during the pandemic. Over 150 thousand families have had to abide by the restrictions. She did not have to follow the rules ( it would be pretty easy to have more people safely in there and do tests) but she is mindful of her people and what the British people have had to sacrifice during the pandemic. When the Queen of England is wearing a mask and sitting alone at her husbands funeral, it sends a message.

And her dog died today just one month after Prince Philip. I don’t know how she’s coping because I haven’t coped with Prince Philip gone either
I nearly revealed my grief to Victoria but I didn’t want too even though she’ll understand
My heart and prayers for the Queen. Prayers for the family 🙏🙏🙏
just looking how powerful these people made me realize how pathetic Megan for spreading chaotic news about the monarch. She will really not going be BELONG.
She comes from a dysfunctional family, she does not have a good relationship with her family it’s evident
Condolence to the Royal Family, He May Rest In Peace 🙏✝️
A beautiful coverage, David Muir has a great voice for this kind of occasion. But those adverts-so sad.
The Queen is such a strong person, -- even in grief, she showed the world her Queenly personality.
My condolences to the royal family!
May his soul rest in peace 🙏🏻
All this takes me back when my father passed away 😞😢
I'm so sorry for your loss 😔😭💕
My Nana passed away 5 years ago 2016. She will be 100 in 4 days time and I wished she saw her 100th birthday in
My heart goes to the Queen and royal family
The Queen Mother's funeral wasn't at St George's Chapel. She is entombed there, but her funeral was at Westminster Abbey.
I was unavailable when Prince Philip passed. I didn't find out until 2 months later. This man was my idle. A strong man that stood up for his beliefs. I know he was not king but I still say, God save the king!
I miss him so much even though I don’t know him. I’ve loved Prince Philip since November 2017. Now 4 months after prince Philip, my friends horse dies
Still not recovering from my friends horses death a month ago because I really loved her. RIP Milly and Prince Philip
There hasn't been a King since the queen's father died.
A pesar de la gente que la rodea veo muy sola a Elizabeth,en cuerpo y alma, debe ser terrible perder a alguien que estuvo con ella,el padre de sus hijos , por más de 70 años Mis condolencias
Well stated. People act like Harry and William would be tempted to have a fist fight or something. They have too much class for that.
@@cocoaorange1
I would’ve been very devastated if they weren’t separated and did fight during their grandfathers funeral. Prince Philip would’ve lost it at them if he saw it all. I love it when Prince Philip loses it and I never seen him do it before until the photographer was taking so long. God I couldn’t love prince Philip more now
@@nicolelawless3199 I think the Queen would have banished both to the Tower or lock them up in Big Ben if they did that. I am joking, but you never know!

It was still funny when Prince Philip lost it though and I won’t hear that anymore 😭
Queen Elizabeth The Second Was Very Beautiful When She Was Young
This made us cry
When I finally told mummy about this, she kept saying that he’s 99 over and over again
This is why I’m not telling her I miss him anymore because she’ll say it again
My condolences to the royal family a rose has been taken out of the family garden and will be deeply miss.
Inside Of The Church Is So Beautiful
I have since he was on Remembrance Sunday and I knew he was in the Second World War then
I was not expecting to be so upset when he died but I actually nearly lost it
I still find it odd that Elizabeth is referred to as Queen of England, especially by Americans. That is not one of her titles. She is Queen of the United Kingdom of Great Britain, Northern Ireland, Wales and her other realms.
She is still, however, the queen of England.
Lol we’re terrible with geography in America. Anywhere in the UK = England to us
Correct...
Yes but other parts of the UK get upset if you don't mention them!
@@NicholasWarnertheFirst how is President of California Joe Biden doing ?
RIP....z"l. Condolences to the Royal Family from an American whose origins are English, Scottish, Welsh and Irish (86%.) I take great pride in my heritage and love the Royal Family. Prince Phillip always took care of his wife Her Majesty and his family. He will be missed. God Save The Queen.
I'm very glad they cut away from the casket being lowered. That's not for us to see, that's for the family, that's private.
True. But I would have liked to have seen it.

I would’ve lost it and I’ll still wouldn’t be healing from this grief now because I’m still not
Very proud of our Royal Family and our Queen. ❤️
Beautiful ceremony! RIP Prince Philip 👑
Even after a month I still need my tissues after 1am
R.I.P ✨✨🙏🇦🇷🕊️No creo en las monarquías, pero el fallecido Philips era ante todo un ser humano y merece el descanso eterno después de su larga vida
....i have NO idea what you are saying
HRH , Queen Elizabeth , please know we all wanted to hold your hand ❤️🙏
That is sweet. I bet Andy did want to hug her. But maybe she does not like signs of affection in public. Plus the health protocol due to the virus.
Nanny has been right by me as I’m grieving for Prince Philip still and I can’t get away from the grief because when I’m out it loves to creep in and I tell everyone I’m okay when I’m not. Now the grief was with me while partying at my mums friends house and I celebrated Prince Philip ms life rather than be with everyone else I love, very emotional I found it
God bless the queen today was a very hard day for the royal family may God be with you all at this difficult time in your life
God bless the queen Elizabeth and family members
Prince Harry still has substantive military ranks (major in the Army, lieutenant commander in the Royal Navy and Squadron Leader in the RAF). The rank he lost is Captain General Royal Marines (honorary appointment and the equivalent of a Field Marshal or Major General). He can't wear an uniform, because after giving up royal duties, he officially retired from the military (usually, even after leaving active service, men who carry royal duties aren't retiring and they are promoted at the same time as their contemporaries) and doesn't have the right to wear it anymore.
Think you will find that Harry has now lost all of his honorary titles including the Navy and RAF ranks.

1:00:56 is amazing, summary f all royal title's, field Marsall of the Armed forces, Admiral of the ryal Navy etc. wrth a second view.
To understand how long Queen Elizabeth's relationship and marriage to Prince Phillip was, let's do some counting:
Phillip first met Elizabeth in 1934, when he was 8.
That means Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Phillip have been together before *65% of the world population WERE EVER EVEN BORN.*
Time is fascinating.

Ome thing I love about the queen is I love the way she loves her grandchildren Harry and William. It shows so much. I guess she has other grandchildren she loves but these are the only 2 I know of or see the most on tv.
They broke the mold with the Duke of Edinburgh. He was one of a kind.
Fly high angel 🕊👼🏼 poor queen 💔
I can't believe how often Google breaks this up with horribly distracting and pointless commercials.
My headphones acted up and changed the video halfway through this one but I sorted it now
I love the Royal family, as child standing to God Save the Queen and listening to her on Christmas Day. They have had ups and downs like any family but have stood firm as a family as it showed on the funeral day as Harry and William spoke and walked together, I think Catherine is a bringer together. God Save Our Queen, she looked so alone but I look at our Country there for her and all her family too.
Sending prayers to prince Philip and family from my family to yours
She LOVED her some Prince Phillip. I don’t see her lasting much longer now that he is gone. Maybe 3-6 months. But then again... I’ve been wrong before 💙
her mother lived to be over 100 years old, without her husband, King George VI, for almost 50 years!
I think our Queen will be just fine. Shes a very strong lady and will continue to serve her country as she always has done. God Save Our Queen. 🇬🇧❤

You would think 10% capacity would be fine. 30 people in a 800 seat church and the queen alone....
Well it was because Philip wanted a private funeral with not many people in attendance, just the main family
R.I.P Prince Philip !

@Vee Valenti I am from Windsor, so I know my history of it. I adore Windsor. So beautiful. No wonder the Queen and the royal family love living here. Yes, the chapel is packed with burial places of previous monarchs. Just behind the quire seats of where Prince Charles and others were seated is the King George VI Memorial Chapel, where our current Queen's parents and sister are buried.
@Vee Valenti Would it be Caernarfon Castle you are thinking of? Where the Prince of Wales was invested in 1969?
@Vee Valenti Carmarthen?
I had a crush on Jane Seymour. I saw her in that James Bond movie with Roger Moore.
Prince Henry Duke of Sussex (Harry) wasn't stripped of his military Ranks he is still a Major in the Army a Lt. Commander in the Royal Navy and a Squadron Leader in the RAF his was only stripped of his honorary appointments
Harry was stripped of all honorary military title including lt col in navy, major general army squadron of raf. Once he said he had no intention of returning to UK and taking his duties the titles were stripped.
@@cphoenix8592 he still holds his Commissioned ranks of major, Lt.cdr and squadron Leader the only way he could be stripped of them is by court marshal yeah he lost his honorary roles like captain General Royal Marine etc but never lost his ranks if so he wouldn't be allowed to wear his service medals
No he was stripped of all honoray military titles from the army, navy, and raf
@@cphoenix8592 he wasn't court marshalled he still holds his military Commissioned ranks they are not honorary he is just retired
He did lose his 4 honorary roles of Commodore in chief - RN small ships and driving.
Honorary air commandant - RAF Honington.
Captain general - Royal marines
And Canadian Rangers
With his leaving Royal duties and having retired from the military, he can no longer wear military uniform for any Royal duties - and it only needs the word of his grandmother to make it a fact. I gather he was not happy about it, but was told that that was the way it was.
