Indeed it is why we love you and your videos, because you are just like us! Thank you for being you!
Another great video Tom. As your safety officer I hope there were two sets of safety glasses so you and Trevor can collaborate on your learning process. A suggestion. If you are experimenting with different settings, etch the settings rather than “test” on various samples. For your dad you may want to etch an analogue clock face on a saw blade and mount a battery hand movement in the center hole. Good luck mastering this new tool.
Wishing you and your family a blessed week, gentle rains, seasonally appropriate weather and restful evenings plotting your next etching.
Loved your video. You are at about the same stage as I am in the learning curve. I have not seen any of the seasoned pros use the focus block and they don't always cover the basics. Appreciate what you did here. I see a lot of these materials at garage sales so I am like you just experimenting.
Glad it was helpful! Good luck with your creative repurposing! Thank you for watching.
Thank you. Just a thought, adding a time block in the bottom of your vids as we see the time lapse. God Bless and stay safe.
what ever happened to the rocket king?
Supply chain issues tripled the cost of stainless steel. It cost almost as much to make as I wanted to sell it for. I still sell the plans, though. Thank you for asking.
We bought just about every option for this unit but the extension and hood....Were not very happy so far, one of the X rods were not mounted in its socket and would not fit even with the screw out of the socket, had to be hammered in. The unit was scratched up, when I contacted support they said...oh sorry. We paid $1600 for this unit and it seems to have software issues and it will not autofocus and tech support is useless....I really regret buying this unit.
Sorry you’ve had some trouble. I’m still learning how to use mine. Thank you for the feedback.
