This is the first of four charity gigs, this one for "Save the baby". The gig was in two parts, first part with Notting Hillbillies, and second part almost as a Dire Straits reunion, when Chris White join the band together with John Illsley. This was John's first appearance on stage since the last Straits concert, back in October 9th 1992. This was also Danny Cummings' first appearance on drums with Mark on stage, but as you maybe know, he played percussion during the -92 tour.

I was about 15 when I went to this very concert, this is my favourite song since I was about 3...I was on such a high I couldnt sleep after, remember travelling over to London just to go to this gig!

This time 12 years ago I was at this gig watching The Notting Hillbillies do their thing during the first half! Absolutely amazing concert for many reasons. This is and always will be my favourite song of all time! Jimmy Nail ain't too bad either - love that he's a massive fan of MK himself and can't hide the fact...brilliant!
