What did you think of these two episodes? 👀
Very well done 👍
A great pair of epidsoes seeing how Ryan and Rob want to use the city's history for the new Kop expansion is just class. Gresford disaster was a horrible and preventable disaster which clearly affected the city so its nice to see it getting some regonistion. The closest thing for us in Birmingham is the pub bombings by the IRA but most of the people were injured instead of dead but it was the worse terror attack in our history until the 2005 London bombings happened. Now on to the next episode it's nice to see they're putting so much effort into the women's team letting them play in The Racecourse to complete their historic league season and then go the Newport for them to get promotion albeit with a flukey goal imo is just the icing on the cake. With all the talk about them wanting to really grow the women's side if they got promoted it will be interesting to see what they're doing if there's a season 3 or something
Most definitely, I am glad that Rob and Ryan are honoring the heritage. Yeah i think the fact that it was a preventable disaster makes it even more sad as you mentioned.
Good to see them putting the effort into the Women's side, Women's football is growing so much and it's the right thing to do anyway.
