Gets waitlisted at Tulane and rejected at Stanford, but gets accepted at UPenn and Duke?
Tulane was probably yield protection, they don't want to admit kids they know have better options like this girl

They probably knew she was too good and that they were a backup .
How does being rejected from Stanford contribute to that at all? Stanford is incredibly difficult to get into

Elia Moroni yeah but the irony of it not being an Ivy League school? She got into UPenn which is one.
@@carriegoodman5450 Stanford is much smaller and has a much lower acceptance rate, so it's pretty much always harder to get into. Honestly whether or not a school is an ivy means not too much other than prestige. As far as whether a school is good or not goes, it comes down to the individual programs that school offers.

Elia Moroni she was admitted to Wharton, which is the top business program in the country. Harder to get into that than Stanford for business.

If you got into Georgetown you should have gotten into Tulane. Don't go to China. Go to UPenn or NYU. And stay away from alcohol.

How are Tulane and Georgia Tech safeties....
Nick Kay Tulane only requires a 3.5 GPA and I’m guessing hers is 4.0+, it just depends on who you are.
Tulane is actually really easy to get into, it is overhyped.
GA tech accepts a ton of IBDP kids from my school, like over 60 percent. So it depends on where she goes to high school, it could be easy to get in.
I go to UNO and we go over to Tulane to party its like a party partyyyy school lmao I could get into Tulane tho I have all the sats for it and im a Louisiana resident so I could go there is I wanted but its really expensive I wanted to go to Loyola but yeah idk how those schools are safeties UNO was my safety school sooo lol

With all this being considered, I really want to know what your gpa, class ranking, and sat & act scores are along with possible activities you’ve done to make you a more attractive candidate. This would really help me just see if I need to make any adjustments to what I’m doing academically so I can ensure my chances for the colleges I want to go to
