I loved seeing all your stitching, quilting, wool and knitting. I definitely want to learn how to knit! Thank you for your inspiration! Your daughter is lovely, as well as her stitching! I always enjoy your videos!
What a fun way to introduce quilting to a young generation. They will appreciate their work in years to come. Also, nice to see your daughter is interested in the needle-arts too. My daughters enjoy crochet, cross stitch, quilting and painting. We might get in trouble when we shop (we just have fun). Button.
The video was great! I am so impressed by all the projects in your haul! You do beautiful work! How fun that your daughter is stitching. Love the button. Thanks for sharing all the things.
Just when I think I have enough projects in my stash you go ahead and show me I need more!!! lol! Thank you for sharing stuff other than cross stitch....while I enjoy cross stitch..... I also enjoy so many more creatives.... crochet, quilting, needlepoint, embroidery, wool applique, cotton applique, EPP.... so yeah...thanks again! Button
I’ve missed you so much…it was great to see you again! I kind of like all the different segments hooked together in one video… Loved meeting your daughter…what a doll! I really wanted to do the hummingbird quilt and still have it in mind! Love the button ! Can’t wait to get back to stitching! Our house had an upstairs water leak that flooded all three levels, so we’ve been living in a hotel for five months…one more month and we’ll be moving back in to a brand new house and I can’t wait to set my quilt room back up and all my stitching stuff… so great to see you!!
I love your videos and I always love seeing your haul! I've had many shopping excursions after watching your videos 🤪 The hanging button is very cute! It would look nice displayed with my button collection 🙂

I do not comment on all the wonderful floss tubes I watch enough! I had to for you. The room you are in might be one of the prettiest I have ever seen on floss tube. I am in awe and enjoying the beauty of that room!
Hi Jennifer, wow, I'm late seeing this video! I'm drooling over everything. Congratulations on your knitting progress. I'm really impressed. I have a couple of tips that might help you with identifying yarn weight. Check the yardage. For a 100 gram skein the yardage gets incrementally larger the smaller the gauge. Worsted weight usually has something like 200 to 220 yards per skein, DK usually has more - 250 to 350 yards, Sport weight (330 to 440 yards) is between DK and Fingering and makes thick socks, baby garments and mid weight sweaters. You know about fingering - about 450 yards, plus or minus a few. The lightest is lace weight with more than fingering - usually between 500 and 800 yards per 100 grams, but I've bought some with as much as 1,000 yards. If you have an unknown or partial ball of yarn you can calculate the yardage using a simple ratio. Measure and weigh a length of the yarn and weigh the ball. It's easy to figure out how much yarn you have. To figure out the gauge ( DK vs Sport, etc.), just knit a swatch and then measure stitches per inch. You're lucky to have The Tinsmith's Wife so close to you. It's as much a destination yarn shop as it is for cross stitch! Blue Faced Leicester - My gray tabby cat is named Leicester but his vet records have his name as Lester. I have some sock knitting videos on my Gramma Rose's Homestead channel showing how to knit my Vanilla Latte socks. I never finished the series, never showing how to finish the toe, but you already know how to do that. I've never made that thing I intended to give you, but your name and address are in my contact list. One of these days you'll get a surprise package from me. ~ Ginger Rose
Another great flosstube! The wool for your shawl is from the Blue faced Leicester sheep (pronounced Lester). Leicester is a city here in the UK in the county of Leicestershire. King Charles championed the use of the fleece from these sheep a few years ago and now it's a thriving industry....

Nice to catch up with you again and also to meet your daughter. Am I the only one who doesn't like to sew on buttons or do any other repair work on clothing? I've been known to stitch an entire sampler before reattaching a button on one of my husband's shirts. I'm trying to get better about the latter.
You have stock piled so many beautiful yarns. I’m knitting challenged, so I have to admire projects done by others. I can’t believe your daughter is a newby stitcher and is stitching on 40 ct. Oh to have young eyes. I spent hours playing with my grandmother’s button tin when I was little.
