Great chat Ollie, my uncle drunk for years. He was a postman so when he left work straight in the pub. Din't come out till closing time. He decided to stop drinking one day, went into rehabilitation, came out stopped drinking for a while. Then he just 1 drink and he was back to square 1. Sadly for him the drink won in the end, he died from liver failure in 2012. So glad to hear your story knowing you beat it.
Great stuff guys, thanks for sharing, keep fighting the good fight and don't underestimate the power of the message. Interesting story about wandering through Baghdad bananas, do you think you were spoiling for a row, or just thinking you were bulletproof
I enjoyed listening, such a huge issue for so many people. Alchohol used to send me to a very dark mental place and cause anger issues. I would run 10-15 miles daily even with 2- 4 hours sleep during a hangover from binge drinking or still steaming from nothing but drinking Vodka the night before till early hours of morning out partying with virtually no hydration just to regulate my mind and try and cover the guilt and repeat. I craved the social dynamic in all honesty but deep down I knew it was poison. Best thing I ever did was cut out the drink and my drinking "buddies".
Loved this and so related to this too. Drink and drugs almost cost me my life. Even now at times I battle the demons but blessed with the right people around me to keep that world at bay. Loved this Ollie and thank you for creating such worthy awareness for this too. 💯🙏
Thank you both for spending the time to do this webinar. It was great. I can identify with everything you have shared as I’m sure many of us can. Your very inspirational ! Best wishes guys Ian
Thank you Ollie and Lauren. ❤
