i am amazed and thankful that you make these, your ability to make near perfectly timed stories cinematic enough i can lose hours without realizing is wonderful, your editing skills are near unmatched on a per video basis. and unmatched with it's consistency, you are a blessing,
BioShock is my fave game series and always will be. Great Job!!! I love the channel and the work. Please keep it up!!! the Greatest and possibly the most complicated storyline ever. Í swear. I'm sorry. I just love BioShock so much
Gamers Little Playground™ The first video i have ever watched of yours was the Gears Of War Movie and i thought that was long lol. Well done on this video! :D
I'm so glad I stumbled upon this channel watching the halo saga this week...because now I can finally have my friends who don't play video games understand the story. I'm so happy. Even my dad likes this. Fucking wonderful.
+TheBigAngryHobo totally agree. i'm not a gamer and dont really have the time for it, but now being able to watch such high-quality almost movie-like playthroughs is leaving me speechless.
Very nice. There's a bit that was left out as far as the radio lore bits, but that would have made it far longer... If someone is looking for a complete walk through, this is not one, but it goes very well for the story line. Hats off to you, Gamer.
***** There will still be Bioshock games. It has been confirmed that there will be more, just not from Irrational Games (which is now defunct I believe). 2K owns the rights to the game and will make more.
For those of you trying to understand or reconcile how one Anna survived it is because one Booker died before the drowning. Booker of the Vox Populi had sent Anna/Elizabeth to Paris before joining Slate in burning down the hall of heroes and thus joining and dying for the Vox. While in Paris, the last Comstock left alive is because he used the Lutece twins to hide him in another time. So one Booker died to even out the death of baby Anna, thus starting the infinite chain of Bookers and Elizabeths. A life matches a life. If one Booker lives, one Anna must also equally live. Constants and Variables. Ever action has an equal and/or opposing reaction! It would only make sense that there be one of each left hiding in separate time zones.
@@glp Bioshock 2. for all its greatness. feels at a foundational level like its premise was based on explaining the details and lore of the first, i like how they tied infinite into the first two. but shall remain forever disappointed at the final product,
That would be really helpful since it has become incredible difficult to download it from UA-cam, and I feel like it would be a lot easier to manage what I have seen, what I have not. Correct me if I'm wrong, but don't the manager page of the Channel offers an option to download the original file or something like that? I believe I've seen it before with a video I have uploaded, but that is a long time ago. Sorry if that is too troublesome. I just want to check your edit of the game the best way possible. Hope you keep up the awesome work.
In the end I remembered that I have bought Hyper for UA-cam a long time ago. I was having problems in the conversion process after the download, since the final size for the file is around 17gb. I had to download the video 3 times (~51gb) until I had the idea of access the temporary files while the app try to convert the file. Then I made a copy of the video and audio files (they come separately) to a different folder and join them in a MP4 file with 17gb of 1080p video, only to find out that the gameplay is too shaky for me to keep track. Since it was recorded with a PC, the image is constantly moving too fast for me to enjoy the history. I'm not complaining about it, since I can't imagine the work the uploader had to produce such a massive video. I'm just saying that is not for me. I think it's best use a controller and make the movements as subtle as possible when you capture a game like that into a video, just because I would think of produce it to an audience that is not acquainted with fast turns and all the shakes a gamer is familiar with. Basically I would think about non gamers, since the gamers would prefer to play the game by themselves.
I am curious what you thought about Bio shock Infinite? I picked up the game months ago not even knowing what i bought and still think its the best campaign ever. Also im new to your channel and came across it looking at some halo info. Love the work!
Thanks!, Infinite's world is so amazing, very little games have that type of detail to their world. I definitely think Bioshock 1 is slightly better, but that might be nostalgia talking. I think either campaign stand as one of the best ever for any genre
2K did pretty good with BioShock 2 to be honest, but then again they were just reusing everything from BioShock 1. If they make a new one, I'm praying it'll be good. That's literally my number one dream for the future of gaming. Lots of those 2K divisions working on 2 actually shut down, but cmon, we need someone to take up the reigns and carry the heavy. heavy burden that is the BioShock franchise. I've never been more absorbed in a franchise in my life. The atmosphere and story of the first game made me throw away my old scale for video game awesomeness. It's only been amazing me more and more since then. Please, more please..please.
The problem with BioShock 2 was that it really convoluted the story with new plot points that weren't even hinted at in the previous game, raising only more questions. Making it kinda confusing and unnecessary considering the gameplay was mostly the same (barring dual wielding and actually better hacking). Funny though, the story of Minerva's Den was actually much better. Instead of adding unnecessary plot points, it actually expanded the story a little by explaining a few things the first game didn't (like how the city of rapture was all automated and where the majority of the advanced technologies came from). The story also felt more personal and typically sad like BioShock 1 and Infinite. If you're interested in similar feeling games; I heard they're planning on re-making System Shock 1 & 2, these games being the precursors of the BioShock franchise (in fact, it was originally planned to link these games in the sea of doors segment). If you haven';t played those, it seems interesting to try out when they come out again.
jakthelombax mar Well we have two main computers at our spot, each with 4 TB. Most games will take about 100 GB to record on 1080p. But when you record on the PC with FRAPS it takes a lot more memory. Otherwise we have more than enough memory. Plus when they're done and uploaded, we delete the files.
Interestingly I like the game the movie but really not the story``since the real life is miserable enough, why should the game provide more tragedies? I know dystopia is somehow popular, but seriously?
Your videos have given me life ALL summer! Your GTA IV video was the first game movie I watched EVER and I just had to subscribe to your channel!

good job thanks.
Bioshock 1 is still such a masterpiece....
Yeah, I would say it's the best in the series. Infinite comes real close

The ending of bio shock 2 brings tears
I would LOVE to see it available for download so I can watch it in the better quality possible. Can you guys make that happen?
Unfortunately not, we don't have the original file anymore, and we never considered doing it since the file was so big. =(

I wish bioshock games can have remastered versions.
this guy must burn through terabytes
lol. Bioshock 1 and 2 were both over a terabyte each to record on the PC. But it was well worth it.
Gamers Little Playground™ bu with all the other video's ypu post. you must have what...10 TB of hard drives?

Wait a minute.... Elizabeth's voice actor sounds a lot like the actor for Aqua from Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep. Is it the same girl?
it all makes sense..,......
jesussss how big is your harddrive
I love you. All of you.
that was awesome SPOILER ALERT it's sad that Elizabeth had to die though:(
11 hours...
koh vin shen
what kind of movie is 11 min long...
It's 11 hours!
MAJ0Rfacepalm shit
Interestingly I like the game the movie but really not the story``since the real life is miserable enough, why should the game provide more tragedies? I know dystopia is somehow popular, but seriously?
I think that's what makes the game so compelling, everything flows like it would in real life. It shows what the darker Sid elf humanity would be like
MisspelledTaco Yeah`` but I just wish to have some happy endings, especially with that lovely Elizabeth```sigh```
