You can add a couple of bobber stops right in front of your bait if you tie direct braid. It helps with the line tangling with the hooks.
Super glue stiffens the line too. I like your idea better.

It would be nice if he would break down the power/action of the rod & the actual speed of the reel. Don’t get it wrong, I’m a Lew’s guy but it would be nice to know.
