Hey Neil, mine came and 30 minutes riding it on the roads of NYC, I hit some crappy holes or uneven surface that got me thrown off. The deck snapped at where the front truck is. I posted this on Facebook Backfire official page. I was in disbelief this happened. Sounds like they have a responsive customer service on your charger issue. I'm going to see what assistance I can get.
Thanks for the great vid mate. Look forward to seeing more to help me decide. Do you think this board could be too flexible? I've seen a few videos of people jumping on them, and the enclosures look to hit or belt hit the ground
It is flexy and I already have scrapes on the bottom enclosure... That being said, I like a board with flex and when I am standing in my normal stance, I dont have any issues with it. Overall I prefer it the way it is but also acknowledge that people have their own preferences when it comes to board flex.
Have you tried to just leave the bad charger plugged in? My charger took 10+hrs before it went to solid red. Now it appears to work normally. I've put about 30miles on mine and I'm pretty happy with it.
Thought about it but to be honest you can see on mine the charger tripping into safety mode over and over again. I just don’t wanna burn my house down. I have the G2 charger and the thing goes forever so it’s not like I’m charging constantly. So for right now I think I’m good holding off.
@@neilbank81 that's what mine did also. Red fade to green and then vise versa. I had pretty much given up on it and ordered a 110v to 220v converter then it started to work correctly. No more problems with it and I've now charged 4 times. My only complaint is I wish it was faster.
Whats the speed? True speed show remote also there not psi tyres so it should be hard on the ground pls advise seems cheap price looking at evolve gtx allterrain but this is alot cheaper
Lol I was wondering how long it would take for someone to notice. At that time I had a stick or something dragging under the truck but I was already recording and didn’t want to stop to redo.
The truth is neither is better. They do different things. Think of it as good sports car vs good truck. Both good depending on what you need. If you are like me and using from home for dog walking etc than ranger. If you need to commute G2 hands down as the rangers weight alone makes it useless for navigating subways stairs etc.
Thanks Neil :) I just got my board (and live in Chicago) Can't wait to see your tests!
Great video, thanks. Mine will arrive mid april. I have the g2s now and love it!!
haven't heard anything from you in a Long while, hope everything's ok, if so. we want more updates
Thanks for the vid, looking forward to further vids on it to help me make up my mind
Mine’s coming tomorrow!
Keen to see your charger mines pretty damn slow and huge would be great for the community if you posted yours as you claim you had issues

Your tires make a sound like they sort of had a flat spot?

Would you upgrade the front wheel for light weight, would you do it? It should save about 6lbs.
I order mine on ali express. 6.5inch scooter wheels with thread It on its way.
For a first board, would you recommend the G2S or the X1?
Thanks!
Send me one and I’ll tell you what I think
