We went Surfing in North Korea!?

- This has been the most amazing surf trip of my life! Visiting South Korea has been one of the most exciting countries I've been to, let alone today we're going to "surf in North Korea". Essentially after the Korean War the country was split into two, the North & the South. They divided the country at the 38th parallel & the line isn't exactly straight so some of South Korea pushes up into North Korea. Today we are exploring the waves of that area & having some fun with the idea. None of this video is to be taken seriously, we didn't actually drive from South Korea to surf in North Korea, but we did visit the DMZ & catch some waves along the way. An amazing day while on a life changing trip! Thanks for all of the stoke & support! - Ben

This is what I like about you content, normally we see pro or “known” surfers in perfect conditions and waves I only see once a year, and that is not your case, if there are shitty waves you try it anyway..that’s what I love to see in your content. Watching Ben eat packaged snacks has been extremely entertaining. Sam is the man for making this all happen. ..North Korea and Ben is still driving. Not far from the DMZ is the most heavily militarized zone in the world, including beaches. The small section in between is governed by the United Nations. Glad no one stepped on a mine surfing the 38th parallel. Sketchy AF.

Dreamer, Sam is the Cosmic Nub Nation Ambassador! When living in Seoul, one of my jobs was to escort American clergy who wanted to visit the DMZ to pray for peace. Nub Nation is the Dream Nation, and the Peace Nation through 🏄♂️🍍❤️
When leading these tours to the DMZ, we would.literally hike down into invasion tunnels discovered by the ROK Army built & dug by North Koreans. We would pray down there for peace between the two Koreas.

when I was in Korean navy, and visited DMZ museum, I always wanted to surf in North Korea after finding out those waves. So many good waves and beaches are missed due to military area :/ Great Video Ben! Big fan of yours in Korea. True legend!

Holy crap has Korea changed! Was stationed in Kwang Ju in 82 but pretty much was all over the country. Too bad I can't post pics on here or you would see how much it has changed. Such a beautiful country with tons of history and awesome people. And then there is the food! OMG the fooooooddd!!!! Best food in the world in my opinion. Hey Ben, did Sam turn you on to some Kaegogi... I mean Bulgogi? lol ( Never order Kaegogi) Anyway, man, this brought back a lot of memories. Awesome seeing y'all enjoying some tasty waveage over there!
