The problem with Ange is that he’s so pretentious and tries desperately hard to sound cerebral. You blamed your team after the game that they didn’t pay attention to the small details. Everyone in the league knows how strong Arsenal are at set pieces and yet you didn’t prepare your team to deal with them. That’s a bloody big detail.
He downplayed Arsenal’s set piece tactics in the first half, yet he sent Bissouma to counter them in the second half…putting him between Ben White and the goalie. If what Arsenal was doing in the first half wasn’t a big deal, why try to stop them?
If he doesn’t evolve his playing style, all he’ll end up winning is brownie points for “being fun and exciting to watch”. If he wants to actually compete and win, let’s hope he smartens up for the sake of Spurs fans.

Fact is(in this case), it's White who declined a certain call up, as we all heard Southgate( n the better part of England) moan. White, is an excellent player who can thrive in multiple positions n complete multiple actions as his efforts for Arsenal testify, England's loss is Arsenal's gain.

You can be a mid level manager with progressive attacking football ideas and succeed in the Scottish league, presuming your managing Celtic or rangers, but in a league where your team is not in top 3 or even 5, doesn't have the best team, best players, most finances; he lacks humility, tactical versatility, interesting in the details among other thing, that's not a recipe for success.
