I just love when Riley gets excited and fluffs up her beard. Yes, she definitely is Sassy! The first video I saw of her just broke my heart. She was trying so hard to move and stand and her head was shaking around. Like you said, it was painful. Then when you showed what her stomach looked like from the side view I couldn't believe it. That she was even still alive amazes me. She is definitely a fighter! I check your videos every chance I get. 😁🦎

I’m one of those people who has fallen in love with Ripley! As someone who grew up with/has always owned “fuzzy” pets, it never before occured to me that reptiles can be affectionate and have individual personalities, just like cats or dogs! I also wanted to let you know that I’m telling everyone I know to never buy a silkie bearded dragon and asking them to spread the word too. I know a fair amount about the dangers of in-breeeding/man-made selection in dogs and cats, but not so much in reptiles, so I’m trying to spread the word about what I’ve learned from your videos. 😊

Wow. The colors on her neck look so pretty. Her reactiveness makes her look so much more healthy. I was very impressed when I first saw how you handle the roaches. I never thought about it before that, but for that sweet sick girl I thought maybe I could do it too. Never would have known if you didn't do it on camera. People need to toughen up a little. Of course we don't want people to have hard hearts to any animal suffering, but working with animals takes a level of unsqueamishness. Life does too for that matter. Buck up people.

Oh. My. God. They have feelings, they have personalities, and each one is as different from one another as one human from another. One of our beardies earned the nickname “Thug Firecracker Knievel”. Because, he would just leap/throw himself out of, or off of stuff and try to fly. His landings mostly needed work. His favorite thing to do was to leap from the arm of our couch and into our Christmas tree to nap. He would throw tantrums if he did not get taken out of his enclosure when he wanted to be out. He was such a funny guy. Lady Vashtra was just chill and mellow, like Ripley. She loved kisses on her chin, and to rest her chin on my lips and fall asleep there. They really are just amazing animals. I adore them.

Why do we need animal rescue??? People should give animals a forever home, food, med care and love... we shouldn’t have to have rescue but people sometimes suck and think only of themselves. IMHO

To see a very happy, very out going and social dragon, check out the channel called Yoll. A dragon named Blinetz ( Pancake) shares an apartment with an eagle owl, several little owls, a cat, lots of other reptiles, an elderly bird eating spider, and a lovely lady named Nikka who flies a Goshawk at Moscow Airport. Blinetz has Murloc the cat trained to pull caterpillers out of containers for her.

I thought you weren't supposed to feed a dragon in brumation because the food rots in their belly.
some that do a deep brumation, but most of the tie its just lazy and them eating is ok.

I have a beardie, Drogon, who is just recovering from Gout and some kidney issues. He is still on meds for his kidneys and I was told to do everything to keep him hydrated. He is now showing signs of the beginning of burmation. I have to give him his meds every other day, but is it ok to disturb him to feed and bathe him or should I only do that on days that he is wide awake?

You're doing a amazing job helping animals in need and you're right that our furry friends get more attention and therefore more help.
Ppl don't understand reptiles, they think that you can't connect with reptiles and that's just not true at all.
I even had to learn that, cause there's no love for them out there, not enough positive exposure.
My nephew had a iguana and my mother in law ended up taking care of it and when the iguana passed away my mother in law was sad.
I was like "why you sad, it was just a lizard?)
And she told me that she bonded with him by taking care of him and she's really not a animal person. If we come by I can only bring 1 of our 2 dogs (sadly we just had to put the oldest one down!)
But that iguana had a real place on her heart and I was wondering a lizard out of all animals, like what?
Until I educated myself on reptiles and there not all the same. Just cause they're cold blooded, doesn't mean they're cold hearted and have no brain and feelings.
They may feel differently than we do, but they do have feelings, they want to be loved, taken care of and they'll love you back for it and it shows by how they bond with you.
They do think, just like Ripley here she learned that opening her mouth makes daddy drop something in it. Not all the time and as much as I'd like, but he feeds me when I open my mouth.
That's a thought process and problem solving right there. They learn and adapt to your situation, but only if you put in the right type of love, time and effort that these beautiful creatures need and deserve.
I love you for all you do and never let these loosers bring you down EVER !!!!

But that's all I can do for now, is to watch with the commercials and share your channel.
I've done so under many youtube vids if they were talking about something that you have showed us.
Like playing with your monitor, many ppl don't know they love to play and I saw a vid on them asking if they should get their monitors some toys?
I was like "Yeah Animal 1 guy on UA-cam plays with his all the time!"
Or when it came to ppl who claimed they rescued animals and asked for money, but they never showed a update on these animals.
So ppl were getting angry and they were wondering how the animals were doing and rightfully so.
I told them if they want to watch and support someone who rescues animals and continually will not only show you the progress, but also the process of what he's doing to get the animals back on their feet, then it's most definitely YOU 👍
And even though sometimes they don't make it, you're still being honest about it and will explain and show what happened.
So I'm spreading your channel however I can, cause you truly deserve to have a lot more exposure, a lot more subs and if ppl can and will help a honest person who truly helps these amazing animals, then it's YOU !!!!
Just want you to know that you're not alone in this and what you do matters so much so that I and others who have found your channel and see what you're doing are willing to help in any way possible.

That stinkeye cracks me up. She reminds me so much of my girl, Lady. She could give the best side eye, hairy eyeball, filthy stinkeye. She HATED dandelion greens. She would shake her head “NO!!!”, and then would act like the greens were devil’s lettuce. Ridley’s sass is much the same. She’s just awesome.

I have a question ⁉️ do they shed if they gain weight and is shedding painful? My son has one and I love to feed her but......he says one small slice of squash is enough... 😟I of course think she needs more because I like to feed everyone 🙂

ok they do shed when their skin has stretched as much as it can. they have to grow new skin, shedding is normal and does not cause pain. When they are younger they eat more and have to grow more so they will shed a few times a year. As adult they shed about once a year. Feeding amounts are based of age, length and weight.

Our beardie started her brumation but it didnt last more than a few days. At the same time she started a full body shed. Her torso finished shedding but her arms, legs and tail are still encased in the shed.
Now, about the last 3 to 3.5 inches of her tail look like its dying. In fact the last 1.5 inches are dead completely and has dropped into a sort of 90° angle and even swings around if she moves quickly, like its going to actually drop off.
Have you heard of shedding causing part of a tail to die?
ya it happens often tot he tail ends, shed builds up and cuts off the blood supply.
