Happy to see a Nick Page video pop up, speaking for many, we’ve missed seeing you. Your adventures, gear reviews and editing videos are sorely missed. I recently bought an MSM Nomad and will be doing more Astro this summer and hope to do more lightening images with a trigger - I refer back to your videos often! They are so helpful and timeless. Enjoy your trip.
Enjoy your trip, I have made 24 trips to Antarctica and everyone of them has been special. I hope you find the joy the light the wildlife and the experience to be what I feel every time magic. Enjoy look forward to seeing your photographs on your return
Packing for a fantastic photography tour is always exciting & sometimes stressful, gear constraints, making sure all the essentials are packed & weight restrictions! All add to the excitement…. have a fantastic trip Nick👍🏻
Hey Nick, I wish you and your wife a nice trip and I'm happy for you both. Antarctica must be damn cold and you can't take enough of the things you need with you. I wonder what you have with you.
Always about weight limit when you fly. My wife gets all up in arms about being under so we don't have to pay extra. I keep telling her I don't care about having to pay, I need my gear to get the shots I want to take so I'm willing to pay. Have a great trip, can't wait to see the videos and your photos.
Nick your videos are top tier! I do miss your voice though. I might be the odd man out but I’d love some voice over occasionally. Cheers Nick! Upload day is always a good day.
Love your new videos. Doing the same thing today. Packing for 2 weeks in Scotland. Trying to get it down to a carry on roller bag and my smaller camera backpack.
I'm heading that way next year. The flight from Punta Arenas to King George Island to board the ship has a 7kg carry on limit. I'm trying to work out how I'm going to take the gear I want and not go over that limit. Might have to make use of my jacket pockets.
Is this the same trip that Scott Kelby is going on in a couple of weeks? Sounds like a trip of a lifetime. Look forward to seeing the videos and images.
Awesome video Nick! If I could give you a suggestion. I just shot out in the Grand Tetons last week, and it was -15. After a few hours I needed those hand warmer packs for my fingers and toes. I was dressed for Arctic conditions, but the cold does creep in. Have fun, and don’t forget to pack a bag of those warmers!
@@NickPage Cool. More power to you. I’ve never felt particularly inclined to go to Antarctica, but it’s very cool. Hope you do a Greenland trip some day, their fjords are otherworldly. Doing my first Iceland winter trip in 4 weeks! Your advice on both methodology and gear have been immeasurably valuable to me the past three years!!!
If ever there was a winning combination, you and Antarctica would be it. Cant wait for the vids and pics. Enjoy you lucky boy. Perhaps you could do an "unpacking" vid when you come back just for misery boy lol
Awesome to share the adventure! I was just going to buy those Tinden gloves... what are your thoughts on liners and overmitts for them? Warm enough for Antarctica if you're packing them
Love this…really helpful…lifelong dream to go there.Which ship/company are you using just for info? Are you going via South Georgia? You might see the mega iceberg headed that way! So envious. can’t wait to see your videos/pix from the adventure!
I'm envious, never been to Antartica so don't forget to make some videos! That's a lot of photo gear. Isn't it too much overlap between the 70-200 and 100-300?
@@NickPage Don't worry about such comments. Very useful information on the equipments! Thanks Nick and looking forward to the video of the expedition :)
Where are your "better videos"?... oh.. no videos, that's why you don't know "about this video" or any other video... bring yours or keep been just another hater

The best in the bag video I've ever watched! Have a great trip.
Enjoy the trip. Be interested to see how you find the 100-300 f/2.8 with extender
Enjoy. Maybe you should think about heated socks & gloves + 2 good power banks Nick and save space 😊
The black Action X50 with the green straps looks awesome. Wish they sold it that way, would have bought that!
Safe travels!
Cant wait to see a video of this adventure Nick! Have a great time 😃

You pack for a trip like my wife! 🤣 Have a great trip.
Haha! She knows what she’s doing.
Coffee? Yeah right!
That’s just what I add to my coffee. It’s actually pretty delicious stuff and slightly addictive.
Good luck on your adventures!
Enjoy Nick. Spent 24 days there last year and came back with some spectacular photos. Handwarmers were a lifesaver ;)
That’s awesome! It’s a truly magical place.
Have a great trip!
Let’s goooo!!! 🎉 Funny, I got you a TRVL ° hat 😅 Kind of. You’ll see.

Well, now I need to repack! See you there.
Are you going Quark, Nick??
Quark?
@ We’re taking great pains to explain to the locals that we’re not an invading force.

This gear is split between my wife and I.. the 70-200 will be her go to… 100-300 will be mine
Why the power shot camera? Have a great trip.
Just something small to film with in situations I don’t want to risk my big cameras
@@NickPage Understood.Thanks.
Come on, let's go!!
and a copy of Chasing Awe?
You forgot to pack extra batteries 😉
Sad to see what happened to this awesome channel...
What exactly does that even mean…
Clearly planning on wearing the same pair of shoes/boots the whole time huh? hahaha
I don’t know about this video. You couldn’t come up with anything better. I’d have to write this to a zero.
I thought it would be interesting to some…. It wouldn’t be the first time I was wrong

You wonder why the haters even bother.
Let’s see yours, David. I’m planning an Arctic trip and it was enormously helpful. Please do a UA-cam search on how you might obtain a life.
