Welcome (back) to the world of symphonic metal! And thank you for checking this legendary band with Floor Jansen as a lead singer, performing in Wacken Open Air 2013, in front of 82k+ metal fans. The positive energy is overwhelming as you said, and that's EXACTLY what we all need now in our lives..
Since you decide to jump in Nightwish's reactions train, I'll give you the short history of the band concentrated by Ann Waychoff, one of the biggest Nightwish fan, just to be sure you understand what's about to happen:
" Nightwish was started in 1996.They are considered a Symphonic Metal band, with a female main singer. They are from Finland.
Tuomas Holopainen, the keyboard player, composes and writes the lyrics for 95% of their music. Marco Hietala is the Bassist and vocals .And there is the guitarist Emppu Vuorinen . Then there is Troy Donockley from UK who is a multi-instrulmentalist and vocals. Jukka Nevalainen is the drummer. In 2015 due to Jukka's health issues Kai Hahto became the drummer and as of now is a permanent addition.
Nightwish has had three singers. 1st one was Tarja Turunen (Operatic vocals). She was with them until 2005. The 2nd one was Anette Olzon from Sweden (Poppy, strong vocals). She was with them until 2012.The 3rd and current singer is Floor Jansen, from Netherlands (power, operatic, soprano.....most versatile) - you just heard her.
There are live concerts that you should use depending on what era. From Wishes to Eternity and End of an Era (Tarja), Montreux Festival live 2012 and Exit Festival (Anette), Live at Wacken 2013, Live at Wembley, Live at Tampere, Vehicle of Spirit, Decades live (Floor). I hope this helps.

How high? High enough to belt D6 notes at the end of Phantom of the opera for almost ten seconds... easily. You can also ask how low she can go, because this Valkyrie does heavy metal screams and growls as well.

Great reaction. It is genuine and as such I don't mind the pauses. It is a REACTION video. People who want to just listen to the song should look at the original. I love the ideas, saying when you are surprised, etc. It is about what the music does to you, and how it makes you feel. It influences everyone in a different way.

Great reaction! This genre of music is known as Symphonic Metal. FYI:There were 82,000+ in the audience that night. I would recommend either 'Ghost Love Score' or 'Ever Dream' 'from the same concert for your next Nightwish reaction.
The singer's name is Floor Jansen. She is the 3rd and still current female lead singer of Nightwish (est. 1996) She had been with the band for little over 10 months at the time of this concert on 03 August 2013. She started performing in her first Metal Band, After-Forever at the age of 16. After that band disbanded, she started her own band called Revamp. Which was on hiatus, when she received a call from Nightwish to take over the female lead singing duties mid-tour. The rest is history

Well, you just witnessed Her Majesty Northern Valkyrie Goddess Floor Jansen (pronounced Yansen, she is Dutch). Floor has classical background, rock academy behind, and used to be a vocal coach for a number of years. Floor is the most versatile and powerful female singer today and can sing anything from more pop-y style, classic opera, to metal screams and growls. Floor is a queen of singing emotions. And she can go crazy high! Floor joined Nightwish in the middle of their Imaginaerum world tour in late 2012 (which includes this show from August 2013). Previous singer, Anette Olzon (she's currently in Dark Element) left the band while they were touring, and there was no certainty what to do with all the upcoming shows. They called Floor (her previous band did tour with NW in the past, and they knew each other). Floor flew immediately to help them out and temporarily replace Anette for the rest of the world tour. She arrived two days before the next show, and she had only 48 hours to learn the entire setlist. And she did. For Floor it was first really big gig with Nightwish, 82K people, at the time she was only for a few months with the band. After the world tour (in October 2013), they made Floor their official member.
Looks like you already know Nightwish origin, but I'll put here a little bit of info anyway, just in case ;)
Nightwish formed in '96 in Finland, initially with Tarja (Tar-ya) Turunen as a vocalist. She left the band in 2005, and Anette Olzon stepped in, until 2012.
The bassist with a cool beard is Marco, and he sings some parts too. He has his own solo project outside the Nightwish.
The mastermind behind 99% of lyrics and music is a keyboardist Tuomas.
Guitarist name is Emppu, and the drummer in this show is Jukka (Yukka), but later he was replaced by Kai Hahto because of health issues.
Flutes/uilleann pipes/guitar/vocals - Troy, he did not perform in this song.
Nightwish is better live, always, so if live performance is available, go for it. In their performances, they often using recorded backtrack of a classical orchestra for their songs.
They have very diverse music, from more light songs to epic scores like this, and to really heavy metal stuff.

A really good song choice to get into Nightwish. Floor is Dutch, so that headbanging is a "Windmill". For most channels I do not like the breakins. But here is seems to add a certain depth to the experience. You have a great voice. Keep up the great work.

-> Ghost Love Score (Wacken 2013): THE "traditional first song" to get into Nightwish. Floor is showing diferent capabilities and you can get a first understanding of Tuomas capability of songwriting
-> There are a couple of great songs from Wacken: "Ever Dream" are catchy in a very positive way. "Song of Myself" starts catchy and ends with everyone headbanging. "Romanticide", "Last Ride of the Day" and "Ghostriver" are the heavier ones.
-> "Devil and the Deep Dark Ocean" (Buenos Aires) will give you a metal and power blast: Maximum speed and Marco (the singing bass player) becomes Hannibal Lecter ;-)
-> "Yours an Empty Hope" from Wembley (have a good look!! at the growls. You'll be surprised.)
-> „Dead Boys Poem“ from Buenos Aires (so amazing and emotional)
-> „Weak Fantasy“ (Tampere): Kai the beastat the drums, Troy joins in, great duets with Floor and Marco, ...

From the new album there are for obvious reasons no live sessions so far. For all songs there are lyric videos, except this one. But maybe you'll give some songs a try as well. It's an awesome album. Definitely not an "easy" one with a lot of really unique songs, different from what is "typical" for Nightwish. Floor said that she was really challenged to sing the songs that Tuomas wrote for her. Knowing her abilities, you can imagine that they are "special". "Noise" is probably the most "typical" song..

--> "Tribal" is the heaviest one and Kai, the drummer, had to change his normal setup to be able to play it.
--> "Shoemaker" (about Eugene Shoemaker) is such a heavenly and epic song with the possible epic ending.
--> "Music", Pan", "How's the Heart", ... are really cool songs as well. All songs are challenged Floor as singer, which is not easy to do.
--> "Harvest" is so different with Troy singing, that you will wonder if you're listening to Nightwish.
If you'd like to Explore Floor on her own: Beste Zangers
Just in case (which I can really recommend) you're going to do "Beste Zangers" make sure you take the clips posted by "jenniezelf" on UA-cam as she has also included the talking / interviews before and after with english subtitles. The concept of the show is, that on one day all singers sing a song for one of them. It's a song that is by that singer or a song that means a lot for him / her. So it is very interesting to get to know the story behind each song. And it will help to understand the reactions of the other singers. Floor is singing there in German, Dutch, Spanis and English. Her "Phanom of the Opera" duet with Henk Poort is legendary.

Tuomas Holopainen, the band's main composer and lyricist, is the keyboards player on this video. He writes 90-95% of everything Nightwish plays. Thank you for a nice honest reaction. Could of had a few less pauses, that will change when you listen more and are surprised less by timing and key changes. Nightwish Army on the way for a visit. They will guide you on song selections, they will treat you right.. Some songs need you to check the back story to understand the meaning. Good reaction, don't mind the pausing. That is what a reaction is, otherwise I would listen to the original one. Although if you get around to watching songs like Ghost Love Score and the Poet and the Pendulum you might want to cut that down a bit. Might take you all night in that speed. (Not that I mind though.) Every chance I get to watch a reaction vid on Nightwish I grab. As simple as that. Take that journey to react more to Nightwish and you got my sub. And oh yeah: How high can she go? Well you haven't even started listing yet. This is just a peak.

2- Then the Wembley 2015 ones that are not part of the Wacken show
3- Then the remaining songs from Tampere 2015 that were not in the previous 2 shows mentioned
4- Then the older songs from Buenos Aires 2019 that were not in the previous 3 shows mentioned
5- To see what they can do with a cover and if you like Marco's singing, watch their interpretation of Pink Floyd's High Hopes
5- Then you can explore Floor's versatility with her band ReVamp's live performances of the songs Disdain at Graspop and Wild Card at Bloodstock
6- And finally go in the deep end of the Floor talent pool by reacting to her performances on Beste Zangers in the order the episodes aired
From watching a lot of reactions, in my opinion this is the most efficient order to discover the rabbit hole that is Nightwish and Floor Jansen.

Hey man. Good stuff ! You haven't seen anything yet ! Welcome to NW rabbit hole. Any live performance from 2012 onwards with Floor is awesome. I would recommend to first go through Wacken 2013 official live performances. Beware, there are full concerts floating around youtube with wrong speed / tempo, Then songs form Tampere and Wacken 2015, icing of the cake they do multitude of classic songs from back in the days on a Buenos Aires Decades 2018/2019 (bluray). Have fun !
