I personally don't think they are mishandling the games. I mean they did but the state SFV is in now is pretty good. As for MVCI rumor has it that Mahvel sort of pigeon holed them to try and make the Mahvel characters the star of the show and apparently they didn't have much creative wiggle room for it. I in no way say they're perfect because the launches were garbage. I think they really need to do a Vs. Collection
Seeing this game in motion still proves it's one of the best fighting games EVER. Capcom and SNK both don't have the budget and don't want to put risk on a CSV3 but should mos def do a HD remake for this generation's consoles because the aspect ratio on now HD tvs affect stage depth and alot of ripped sprites (specifically Morrigan and the SF Alpha look like ass against the great stages)
If they make a capcom vs snk 3. It would be awesome if they used the BlazBlue Cross Tag battle type of graphics. Also if they made a cvs3, there would be a lot more grooves too =O.

Yeah CVS2 is a huge crossover so you can play every character and choose your system from a "groove" based on either a capcom or snk game/serie There's 5 groove total, each with differrent mechanics, for exemple, P groove will give access to parry, hop, dash etc, S groove is more kof 94(where you can charge your bar, dodge, run...) and K groove ressemble Garou (Just defend, rage...)...

And all of the games... now I am not saying sf4 and sf5 are trash... but all of these fighting games that are new... they bring a new audience and all but, only because they are easy to learn and EVERYONE and I mean EVERYONE plays the same and will do the same shit... hop on UA-cam and learn a comb with stupid comb tutorials.. yes I’m old now and yes I’m happy to see CVS especially 2 pop up again so it can show these kids what a great fighting game is all about.
joeresio i agree with everything you said but placing sf4 in the category as five considering how technical sf4 is, sf4 even has a parry. I miss the sf4 and mvc3 days, it was the last years of technicality from capcom now arksys has my heart, but even arksys is making things easier.

alpha 2 don't have grooves. You have all in one - alpha 3 grade supers, o custom combos . In kof you can choose groves by KOF 97
