That was a cool clip... he had no idea how out of whack his suspension was... cool that you got him a bandaid for the day and informed him on the way to go to get it fixed.
A hooker! From Rugby! 🤣 I don’t think the guy understood what you meant. Maybe you could confused him more by talking about cauliflower ears.... Go Australia! Unfortunately, our neighbours, the All Blacks, are just too damn good! Which you know all too well... Thanks Dave as I’m still laughing as I type this! 👍😎🇦🇺
Thats a 2010. The speedy was released in 94. That might be a first gen for the 1050 but its a 3rd gen counting the original 94' speedy and the t509 speedy.
This italian guy is very lucky! As he said (in italian), he seems to randomly met dave at the track, and look at these fantastic results! Dave i'am italian too, is there a chance to ever see you here in Tuscany? i'll be glad to make you tune my street triple!
Hello Dave, very curious with this video. The Rear Shock and understanding if its gone completely. Is it just fact that you can hear Air on the rebound portion of the stoke that indicates its gone, or is
Dave Williams, editor, replying here. You're correct. I struggled with how to identify it as the first gen of the 1050 era. As I write this I realize, duh, I should have put "1050 Era" instead of just "1050".

Well done Guru Dave for helping that guy still enjoy his day at the track. Hope he comes to you for a full suspension overhaul.
Impressed with the amount of knowledge this gentlemen has!
Great Guy ! Most guys have their bikes setup wrong and still hit the road hard..;-)
Thanks Dave, I love to learn this stuff, my bike won't know what's hit it when I start adjusting the suspension. :>)
Here’s hoping nothing actually hit it ;)

I have very loving memories of Tuscany. Once Covid restrictions go away, I will resume traveling again.
Will u be up in the Washington area anytime soon??
The Ridge in July. No other plans as yet.

Literally that yes. And when it is really bad, the shock "jumps" through the stroke until the oil starts flowing to it reaches a hydraulic wall.
Nice job...👏👏👏🚀🚀🚀💥💥💥
hello dave i have the same bike and the probleme i have in it is the start of it in the cold /hot state ????? i need real help for it and thank you
When was the last engine valve adjustment and throttle body synchronization done?
First gen was an 885 and second gen 955i. This is third gen engine.
