Thing is Tom is poor as shit and all the sacrifices he makes means nothing since at the end of the day there are people for fortunate then him who he just can’t compete with. It’s why I don’t like the Broken, the idea of giving all you have for someone who will most likely not appreciate it bothers me immensely. It speaks of a man with no self respect, I’d understand doing that for a girl friend of years or a wife but a women you just met? One who treats you like their lesser no less? Nah I’d stab that bitch every time. That’s basically what I meant when I said Tom and Jerry did it better, I think they were trying to tell young men to treat yourself well and don’t give more then you can for someone who doesn’t care or appreciates you.
