    I hope yours doesn't break at the 2pin connector like many people's units

      Ouch, that would be very unfortunate. 😵 So far I only had 7Hz Timeless connector going bad after a very short time.

    I was hoping for a variations 2, now deciding between variations or this. But i heard quality controll is not great. Is it worth the increase in price?

      i have both variations and dark saber. The variations are WAY better. In every regard... I was insanely disappointed in these.

    I currently have classic hi-fi headphones. I'm planning to buy another one. And I'm thinking about IEM, for listening at home. What do you recommend another classic hi-fi headphones or should I try IEM headphones?

    • @iiWiReviews
      @iiWiReviews  4 місяці тому +1

      For me, IEMs are best used when portability is important, and sound isolation too. So I use them outside... Inside, classic headphones will always be more comfortable to wear for longer time. IEMs can irritate the ear canal skin if used for long (it's person dependent).

    How's the plastic around the 2-pin female connector on the earpiece? Does it feel soft/brittle when trying to connect or remove a cable?
    I hesitated to get one right after someone posted a review that theirs broke near the female 2-pin connector of the earpiece >

    • @iiWiReviews

      It looks plastic but fine so far. I changed the cable some three to four times so far so can't comment on its durability.

    I understand the Dark Saber is a slight alteration to the Variations (though some seem to think the Dark Saber is worse). The Variations have a similar curve to the Kato, which is in your price range. I have both, and the Variations is obviously a vast improvement in clarity, soundstage, detail, etc. But the Kato is no slouch, at less than half the price of the Variations.
    I boost subbass (below 40 HZ) and mids (400 hz) a bit on both. I am a massive subbass fanatic, so I always have to boost subbass on all playback equipment. I even boost it on my SVS SB16 sub. 😂

      In terms of detail and sound stage the Kato are eons behind the Variations, I own both and honestly with more complex music pieces the Kato sound like a car stereo while the Variations sound like a home Hifi. There is really night and day difference...

    in your opinion, what is a good frequency response in iems for studio production and monitoring... a very truthfull and correct sounding found profile?

    • @v000000000000v
      @v000000000000v Місяць тому

      monitoring with IEMs is never truly accurate and no one can recommend you a 'truthful and correct sounding profile' IEM because everyone's pinna and HRTF is different, and your brain then get used to that specific HRTF, you have to accurately measure what the sound pressure and response curve you get at your ear drums with a set of speakers that have perfectly flat sound

    Can you provide your EQ settings.

      I used PEQ with only one band:
      - Frequancy: 250 Hz
      - Gain: 3 dB
      - Q: 0.5
      This to my ears made sound, especially vocals, more full-bodied and midrange more balanced.

    Pozdrav,odlične recenzije, da li znadeš možda kolika je razlika između KZ ZS 10 pro i moondrops saber ako si imao priliku slušati obadvoje ,frekvencijski raspon je isti 7-40khz,osjetljivost je nešto veća kod Moondropsa 128 a kod KZ111 a cijena je pet puta skuplja Moondropsa.

      Pozdrav. Nisam slušao KZ ZS10. Meni su KZ sve što sam probao često imale preoštar zvuk pa sam skontao da to nije za mene i prestao njih da nabavljam. Specifikacija na papiru inače može da bude jako slična, gotovo ista, a zvuk prilično drugačiji.
