So this is the Beats Pill, now I really appreciate the great build quality of this speaker, I love that you can use its USB C port to charge your own devices and it has a long battery life. However, for me it is hard to justify this speaker due to its price to performance ratio. So today we’re going to see how the Beats Pill stacks up to the JBL Charge 5, its an older speaker now, but it still a solid pick up if you’re looking for a mid sized speaker to either use at home or to take it on the go with you.

I'm surprised no one has been able to catch this, but if you listen very closely, the Beats Pill has a deeper frequency response than the Charge 5. I'm no fan boy or anything, you just have to listen very closely and use good headphones. Still, Charge 5 wins for overall power.
Well, the Pill lacks mid and upper bass, so relatively it's deeper bass is more hearable than a Charge 5 that have a lot more punch
For the price of $150 unless extra portability is ur ultimate priority there is no debate here charge 5 is it
JBL flip 6 is a better bargain than beats pill considering performance
It really is. I have em BOTH. I love em BOTH. All bout preference. But the flip 6 does sound a bit BETTER at louder volumes
The craftsmanship of the Beats line is top notch but Apple is trippin cause you can only pair two Pills and there is only that standard size. They should have a mini Pill that can clip to your belt or bag without it swinging on that rope and there should be an XL version as well. They could totally send a software update that lets you pair as many as you want. I would have gotten one but I know I won’t be able to hear it at my warehouse job. Got a red Charge 5 for 135$. It was returned within the 14 day Best Buy return policy, so basically brand new. Disappointed my charge can’t use the USB C as an aux cable. These companies just neglect features that could make consumers unquestionably happy and or loyal for life.
The pill is ridiculously bad from a price/performance standpoint

JBL, some people said overpriced, so Bose. But Beats, above them all.

Hey bro love your videos, been watching since Lockdown. Please check out this one speaker from Germany called the Loewe We HEAR pro, I like how it looks but there aren't many video reviews on it, it's around the same price as the Xtreme 4.
I thoroughly tested out the beats pill at the LaGuardia Airport, I was presently surprised it had more deep bass than the Charge 5 , but it does have a midbass scoop with not that much upper bass. With its warmer sound signature and relatively low output power for its size, I recommend 2 people charge 5 over it. But it's still very intriguing for me to grab

Not even remotely. The beats pill is 12 years old.
I saw a video from this guy and beats pill 92% volume was loud as flip 6 in 70%

Your comparison videos are the best. And maybe a versus video like the one you did with 2 Sony Xb100 in stereo pair vs Flip 6 and Charge 5.

I've tried to connect the clip 5/go 4 with the charge 5 through the app but couldn't make them pair even though the app made some updates at some point. Now the app has a seperate tab for auracast and partyboost.
Can anyone help me connect them plz?

My go4 still doesn’t connect to my charge5, it doesn’t show up on the same page in the app 😢.

The auracast and partyboost feature is different. It doesn't pair.
Yeah but its supposed to be backwards compatible thru the app
The beats has better sound quality and a nicer feel. Yeah the JBL has a bigger battery and can go louder but it lacks the high quality frequencies the pill offers. Beats for the W
