This tribute to Gene Kelly is amazing, because the rhythm of the music matches the moves completely! What a talented dancer he was; best tribute I ever saw.
Wow! I've obviously missed out on a lot of Gene Kelly movies! Thanks so much for posting. You kind of wish you could travel back in time and experience what it must gave been like to see these movies at the cinema....Gene Kelly was a phenominal dancer!!!
This is one of the very best tributes to Gene on UA-cam. The music and Gene's moves are edited to perfection. I thought I'd commented on this before. It's one of the first of his videos I put in my playlist monthes ago. Thank you for this...Susie
Same here, Patty! It's a wonder I didn't discover this sooner. This is really great! The array of clips is spectacular- you rarely see that many in any tribute. Thank you, kyo 175, for this joy!
Here again, I just can't stop coming back here to watch this video. I just want to restate what some of the others have said and say that you truly did an amazing job on this. Thanks so much!
Gene was without doubt one of the worlds greatest hoofers - part of my memories of growing up in the 50s. Thanks for the tribute, matches the music perfectly.
I love seeing old movie clips that I'm very familiar with when they've been re-edited skillfully like this, to go with a different piece of music. I get a whole new appreciation of the visuals.
This is a MARVELOUS job of a tribute ! I loved Gene Kelly growing up and I can not think of a better way to honor him than this. I share it regularly for people to see Gene and appreciate his dancing. You deserve much credit for a job well done.
Hmm...maybe you have just taught me something about myself. I have always loved Gene Kelly but did not realize he'd done the Three Musketeers. Mayhaps that is where my love of swords and Musketeers came from!
This is my favorite edit I’ve ever seen. All of it just matches up so well while still leaving time to showcase his skill. Love him! I have no idea how many people I’ve shared this with over the years but it’s a lot, it’s just so good.
Whoever said men who dance are 'sissies' never saw Gene Kelly in 'The Pirate' ! And all time best, romantic, funny and SEXIEST Musketeer to ever laugh at gravity! There'll NEVER be another like him. Thank God for celluloid!
You did a really fantastic job making this! Gene Kelly is so awesome, thanks for doing this! I made it one of my favorites! I love Robert Palmer too! :)
Ok, a question now. I thought I knew which all of these clips, but can someone please tell me what movie the clip around 1:28 is from? It shows up again at 3:23.
