We need this concept, into an actual entire amusement park! Not a Jurassic Park/World ride or an exhibition, a whole entire park of realistic animatronic dinosaurs!! That would be the closest thing we can get to a real Jurassic Park!!
@@spookytaco666 Yes, indeed! I saw this exhibition at the Field Museum in Chicago back in 2017 and was thinking, “Why is this concept not an actual theme park yet??” We don’t need any more Jurassic films in my opinion, just to focus on an actual theme park based on Jurassic Park, as I described!
Good things you said the key word ‘animatronic’, or else I thought you didn’t get the message of the WHOLE DAMN FRANCHISE Lol you’re right though, that’d be nice!
Jurassic World: The Exhibition is located in The Colony near Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas. Event runs until September 5th. Buy your tickets now on their official website. Link is in the description.
A fun but scary thought, it's that there might never be a "real" Jurassic Park with real dinosaurs, but an incredibly realistic replica with animatronics and robots that would be indistinguishable from the movies.
There is a ride at Universal Beijing Resort called Jurassic World Adventure and there’s a part of the ride where an Indominus Rex animatronic actually follows the ride vehicle
Now this is precisely The Jurassic Park attraction I would’ve loved to have visited as a kid at Universal. Hope it becomes a permanent thing at the theme park.
Actually I believe the company that built those animatronic heads of the four raptors is the same company that built the four animatronic velociraptor heads that are in the queue for Velocicoaster at Universal Orlando Resort
This is also at various locations around the US. rn its in Denver, CO until September and then I think they are moving it. Hope this helps your dreams come true easier! :)
Alien and Jurassic PARK had some of the greatest aesthetics. To walk around an entire land or park that accurately depicts either would be amazing. Universal is cool, but it's JP land was more added to the space then planned all along.
Yea we went to Dallas for this. 45$ a person. And it only lasted like 30min. They rushed us through it. Also they never fed the indominous Rex. No air conditioning. Very hot. Some people seem to almost stroke out. But was worth it to see my sons face
It was $30 and it lasted an hour. It was over 100F when we went and it wasn't that bad, idk maybe the fans weren't working when you went but it was definitely just warm inside, not hot.
This is really cool, and I'd be interested in getting more information about it. The raptor in the grooming station seems to be identical to the raptors at The Velocicoaster, and the Indominous seems to be right out of Jurassic World: The Ride. Is it a third party with the Jurassic World rights, or is it Universal putting on the exhibit themselves? It's odd to me that this exists and I can't seem to find any additional information on it.
1:42, they should’ve put the Indominus behind a full glass screen, not just halfway up. Because if it were a real animal that size, nothing would be stopping it from climbing that small glass wall and eating everybody on the other side. Basically, it would just improve the immersion.
we saw this traveling exhibit in dallas/ft worth, but didn’t get to see the indominus’ feeding time. it was still an incredible experience that my son and i loved
Good solution would be showing this segment in a place with high grass, that would cover those "unwanted" details. It would be so much cooler. Or something much closer to what they've done with T-Rex
I got to see this at the Field Museum here in Chicago back in 2017. The set up and animatronics were already awesome and awe-inspiring, but they’ve clearly improved everything they’ve done since I saw them. I’m impressed!
I actually prefer this Blue raptor costume way more than Universal's Blue - while the head and mouth movements aren't as expressive, I enjoy the anatomy waaaaay more than the Universal raptor suit, which feels awkward, chubby, and clunky - the head of the Universal raptor is the only redeeming quality IMO.
@@Icy-Penguin I don't mind that the legs are shown here in favor of the more freed movement the actor can do with this. Def not ideal but I'll take that hand off
I love velociraptor costumes that are like this with the person’s legs showing rather than with the legs hidden. In January last year I went to see the Jurassic World Live Tour show because it was in my city at the time and the Blue costume used in the show was just like this one in the video
I went and the Indominus Rex part looked surprisingly real. My little sister got within about 5 feet of the head and wasnt scared, but stood under the swinging light of the Trex part and thats when she got freaked out (our tour guide screamed and I think thats what freaked her out). My whole family really liked it
@@magmorix3883 I was talking about the new Jurassic World rides and attractions: the Florida Velocicoaster and the California water ride have some animatronics, but also use a lot of screens.
I went to the one at the field museum several years ago, and back then the animatronics did not even look like the dinosaurs in the movie, they were just reused from the WWD live show. Glad to see they actually noticed this and fixed it.
In the future when animatronics are way more advanced and probably being able to walk on their own and have their own thoughts, Maybe jurassic world can be possible.

Large scale animatronics. I think Andominous Rex was just the neck up, that's all we saw. But T-Rex? Full size, tail, arms, legs EVERYTHING moved, she was huge and very close! Like if you jumped up you could practically touch her nose (I don't suggest doing that though lol)
