I use placemats and table runners...... just bought one table runner for $5.42 and made 4 toiletry bags for some of the men in my family. I always add a gift card inside..... gift complete😳

Sylvia Parnell yes I am aware of the use of stabilizer etc. the placemat pouches are geared toward beginner sewists. I would assume advances sewists would likely not want to use placemats. Something about using placemats makes beginners not feel quite so Intimidated to try. 😉
I consider myself an advanced sewer and I love using the placemats......just used Vera Bradley placemats.....gorgeous... and simple😍

Lorrie I’m planning on doing some of the placemat ideas for Christmas gifts. Also, my daughter sent me a larger size of the sanitizers that won’t fit the little holders like i made according to your tutorial. I’m going to have to change it up some. Walmart should realize Canadians like the Pioneer Woman place mats, etc as well as the U.S. They cancelled ALL Pioneer Woman things, all their fabric, plus a lot of other things! Guess they hold us in a lower spot!
