Did he have mobile phone insurance? Maybe he can get a replacement. Hopefully he had his data backed up. The id and card recovery was a positive.
I just updated my snowboarding gear and was up my ski resourt last month for a platinum wedding band but unfortunately too much snow dumped so I will be back in spring time for that recovery.
Greet times and nice recovery. What is the percentage chance his phone got ran over but the item was recovered.
If he just got the phone he may be able to enable the insurance then file a claim 😃

Hey Jeff, No insurance but data was backed up. He bought it with a credit card and I suggested he checks if purchases are protected. The cat square ran over it. Total write off. I'll mention the enabling of insurance!! Great suggestion.

Unfortunately, the phone got destroyed but at least the snow grooming equipment didn’t scoop up the phone and cards and haul it off as the beach sifters do.
