Everyone please be aware the title says UPDATE this is NOT my entire collection...I make these every few months to show off what new records I’ve accumulated recently. Also, I’m not rich but 35 records in like a 5 weeks span is a lot to me, so hence why I said “HUGE” in the title.

I ordered the K-12 green vinyl almost 3 weeks ago and it hasn’t shipped yet. I didn’t knew about the production delay, maybe that’s why it is taking forever to ship
EBC 1302 I got an email saying it was on backorder & there was a delay. They said I could cancel it for a full refund if I wanted to or wait it out. So I waited. I got a shipping email but the tracking didn’t update for nearly 5 days so idk what was up with that but I still got it faster than I expected to!
EBC 1302 hi. i’m not sure if you’ve gotten your vinyl in yet (your comment was a month ago). my aunt ordered the same vinyl for me for christmas last year. she ordered it in november and it arrived in february. i’m not sure if this is helpful or not, just my experience with purchasing the K-12 green vinyl! xx

gavin k22 if you’re getting a standard vinyl I’d say $20! If it’s an exclusive then $25-$30! :) as long as you buy them upon release if you want & buy them second hand from eBay or DePop then they can be pretty pricey depending on how rare the vinyl is

I have K-12 on pink vinyl and Crybaby on standard black, now I want the Dollhouse Ep and Crybaby´s Extra Clutter EP. (I hear they are pretty expensive)
They are very expensive since they were only 3000 made worldwide and they are sold for $400 dollars on eBay

The “45’s” are actually just called 7 inches. This is because some 7 inches are actually played at 33 1/3 rpm
You can call them 7 inches but the real name is 45s
Max Gearhart did you even read my comment bro? That’s not correct lmao, it’s the other way around; they are called 45’s based on the rpm, but not all of those smaller records play at 45 rpm. Many play at 33.
It’s the same reason no says “I bought a couple 33s today.” They would say “ I bought some 12 inches today”

What do you mean? Some albums I’m not going to like every song, as for the singles I only buy songs I “don’t like” if it’s picture discs since I’m gonna frame them anyway so they’re more for the design.
If you’re referring to me buying singles I won’t listen to, I do enjoy the songs, I just won’t play them because they’re high valued ($80+) so I just want them to own in my collection & I won’t open them or play them.

@@kalinkalaovia7527 again I’m a bit confused. I only buy expensive records I do enjoy & to help complete my “sets” as I am a completist with certain artists. I have a reason for every record I purchase, picture discs are bought to be framed for their artwork, some expensive vinyl is bought to keep sealed due to its value even if I want to play it so badly, some vinyl is bought to help 100% the collection for that particular artist I enjoy.

I do understand the protective outer sleeves thing - I really do. But what I DON'T get, is how people new to vinyl won't learn
how to handle them properly. Do not put your fingers on the playing surfaces (seen so many vids on UA-cam of people
doing this). The oils and grease on your fingers will clog up the grooves over time making the records sound awful in no
time soon. These oils/grease will dry and harden in the grooves over time and will be difficult to remove without having to
pay for expensive records cleaning services, or buy an even more expensive record cleaning machine. The sound will be muffled
because the stylus (needle) cannot track cleanly due the crud in the grooves.
You have paid a lot of money for those records (the cost is too much IMO) so handling them the correct way will ensure
they last a long, long time and in years, play just like new as the day you first bought them.
I have records I bought new as a kid in the late 70's, and although the outer sleeves are a bit worn, the vinyl is like new
because of the way I handled and kept them clean (as all my records are except the very old ones I inherited from my parents).
You probably wont have the same turntable (or record player - there is a difference) in years to come because you might
improve your system, but if your records are in poor condition, the sound will be awful, only amplified to sound really awful by the
better equipment you are playing them on. Please try and watch some vids on how to hold a record correctly. It really will pay off in years to come.
Just trying to pass on a little knowledge that I was taught as a kid. Cool collection by the way.
What I DONT get, is that my fingers DONT touch the grooves. There’s a small space prior to the FIRST track where Grooves start that I place the bend in my finger. I have long fingers & acrylics so the acrylics make it look as though my finger “pad” or “print” area is covering the surface when it’s not.
Thanks for the long story & history but I’m educated in this & never touch the grooves. I wish y’all would use your brain & see how careful I am with my hands & not assume I’m touching them lol. Gonna have to do a fucking close up “tutorial” at the start of my next update to end this bullshit so y’all see. 👏
Also, in the thumbnail you can see my extensive collection & in the pinned comment I state how this is an UPDATE & not my whole collection. Don’t see that I’m a female or “young” & assume I’m new. Been collecting for 4 years. 👍

handle black records like that you WILL see your prints at the start of track 1 on both sides. It's impossible to hold them like
that and not get finger prints on that area. Don't believe me then, up to you but I speak from experience here. And what's your age and

For what it's worth I was offering so advise on caring for those hard earned records.

Daniel Santos I didn’t touch a single groove with my fingers so I don’t get why people still comment this? I always touch the edge or border before the first tracks grooves...

So ok....why buy some of these when you re not gonna listen to them ...doesn’t make any sense to me, especially when it comes to vinyl. The only thing I can understand is actually buying a disk that it’s really rare and unique and you can’t find it under normal circumstances but otherwise why would you buy something that’s pretty pricey if you’re not going to listen to it or sell it
lollipop 2016 if it’s pretty pricey then it is rare, so therefore I don’t want to open it. Most of my singles are on full length albums I own so I usually don’t open my singles. But I’m a collector & listener so I do both. 🤷♀️ some I open some I don’t.
Let people enjoy vinyl in any way they want to whether it’s playing it, displaying it, or simply collecting it without even owning a turntable. It’s their money they can spend it how they want to. Also, why would I spend so much on something just to try to resell it??? Doesn’t make sense.
I do enjoy playing most of my full length LP, so 98% of mine are opened. I usually just don’t open my singles.
