Miku was made to be a vocaloid that sings. If you compare this song to "Anonymous M," you will notice that Miku is depressed because somebody won't let her sing, causing her to become depressed. Maybe her depression got so bad that she became vulnerable to everything around her, and her depression hypnotizes her, causing Miku to become a whole new creature entirely. If you listen to the lyrics in "Mesmeriser" and in "Anonymous M" you will notice that Miku mentions a few similar things related to depression and sadness. But when she mentions "you are going to end too" in "Anonymous M" and notice her transformation in "Mesmeriser", she planned to get revenge but she couldn't do it alone, needing help to be able to get revenge, which is probably why Teto gives up resisting the hypnosis. So Miku's intention was to try and tell us not to let depression take over you or you will go insane.
Anonymous M was made by a completely person though. These two songs are in no way shape or form related, and the whole point of Anonymous M was to say that Miku was essentially just a voicebank, a blank slate for people to project their interpretations onto. She isn’t depressed because she doesn’t _exist_ not outside of being just a voice and a design anyway. And the “don’t let depression take over or you’ll go insane” part sounds insensitive to people who are actually struggling with mental health issues. “Insane” makes it sound like they need to be locked up in an asylum which is NOT how you should treat people with depression

Probably because Teto was about to be hypnotised but realised that we are still watching so she had hope. It makes sense why Teto gave up in the end of the video as we are no longer watching.

@@floofiAnimatez1234 in 0:38 they're talking in broken english so the creator of mesmerizer probably translated things and also asl(american sign language) and jsl (japanese sign language) are apparently different and the sign language that teto did for "help" was asl so it's possible that there's some english aspects to the song to confuse japanese viewers so that japanese and english viewers can collaborate anf theorize together

Maybe her depression got so bad that she became vulnerable to everything around her, and her depression hypnotizes her, causing Miku to become a whole new creature entirely. If you listen to the lyrics in "Mesmeriser" and in "Anonymous M" you will notice that Miku mentions a few similar things related to depression and sadness. But when she mentions "you are going to end too" in "Anonymous M" and notice her transformation in "Mesmeriser", she planned to get revenge but she couldn't do it alone, needing help to be able to get revenge, which is probably why Teto gives up resisting the hypnosis. These two songs are in no way shape or form related, and the whole point of Anonymous M was to say that Miku was essentially just a voicebank, a blank slate for people to project their interpretations onto.
