hard to argue against any hit if the player they're replacing isn't playing, because a clean sheet or any goal contribution earns back the points you lost. If they're both a transfer you'd want to keep beyond the blank gameweek I say go for it, contingent of course on who you're dropping
Is it worth taking a -4 to have 11 players for the blamk gw if im going to wildcard anyway in GW 30? Similar to yourself but i don't think enough time is allowed for the player hit to have enough gameweeks to be worthwhile
I think it’s worth it for midfielders and forwards but probably not defenders as I can’t see many clean sheets about

Yeah, that’s definitely worthy of using the Free Hit! I wouldn’t have a problem using it this week with less than say 7-8 players but I went down the route of dead-ending my team to GW29 a while back.

Why Maddison in for Foden instead of Saka? Foden more likely to return in GW30 than Saka
