    Flaming river is probably a reference to the Cuyahoga river( which actually caught on fire)in Cleveland which is also in Cuyahoga county where flaming river is located

    Great job with the bronco but glad you're getting back to the important things I'm sure it was nice not having to completely fabricating a unibody frame and suspension can't wait to see the Corvair finished

    Beautiful work. I'll bet that engine has a great torque band for off road driving. I must be a sicko, I love wiring. I used to hate it but a friend of mine builds wire looms for corporate jets and has tutored me to the point where I can wire anything.

    I've got a 72 bronco. I drove it in 1972, it belonged to friend of mine. It has a 100k on it now. Simple and in another 100k it will still be running. When you take something simple and and complicate it with a bunch of electronics you have a real good street car.

    My 1987 Samurai ground up rebuild is 95% or more finished and has been spread over four years. Hours are unknown.

    turbo diesel in a small 4x4 is perfect! Maybe try some hydro motor mounts to combat the idle vibration? The only thing I'm dissapointed by is the automatic transmission 😄

      also, is this one of those roads off the PCH in Malibu? that dirt climb looks familiar, I think I've been there a few times. Used to test out some vehicles there as well!

      Kincer does. It also incorporates a wiper fluid tank reservoir.

      Thanks. He has an ICON Bronco with a Coyote engine but complains that the high strung engine is all top end and not that much fun to drive

    Wow, just wow. For $200K one can have a 6 second 4000hp drag car built. For $200K one can have three custom built best rock crawler buggies on the planet. For $200K one can buy 10 brand new fastest motorcycles available. For $200K one can buy a new helicopter.

    Great craftsmanship and a nice vehicle but not a $200k vehicle. With $200k, you can get a new TRX and new Tahoe Duramax with thousands left for fuel.

    I can't believe anyone would be stupid enough to waste that much money on a rattle trap of a vehicle like this. There is a very good reason why people abandoned these vehicles years ago. And no, if you think they look good, you're wrong.

    Nice work. But to see a early Bronco in that condition, having the drivetrain altered and putting a Cheesy diesel in it is insulting. Project like this should have had just a frame aftermarket tub Angola town with it.

      Pretty fun story, but the real story is he's an undocumented migrant that perfected the skill of squatting. Somehow, he's able to seize the deed from the duped owner and sell the house. It's hard work but gets him nice stuff.
