I'd use solid inspector prior to cutting the top and bottom and then use solid tools and some cylinders to cut it, that would be faster. Then use cleanup extension to remove useless edges.
Thanks for the great knurling video, it was very helpful. Is there a quick way to make fillets around spokes that penetrate into a cylindrical hub? I was able to do it but had to build one fillet quadrant around a spoke one surface at a time then using Flip Along I could paste them around the spoke, very time consuming. Thanks
This was very helpful! Many faucets and cabinet knobs being selected by my clients have knurling as an option.
Great to hear! Hopefully some of your models can get by with some textures, but when needed, hope this will help.

Nice one Tyson, very informative
For some reasons I didn't get notified for this video🤔
Anyway, Just cut some holes and it will look like a cool lantern 🏮
Nice job Tyson!
Ty for material! This helped a lot
Thanks for these types of exercise!
Sketchup is the perfect tool for the OCD-enchanced.
Ribbed rebar would be another good practice example.
Nice I've been thinking about this for a long time. I've been thinking about trying this myself. But it looks like you have done it anyway.

It may or may not work in your situation, but there is a new bevel extension, and also a round corner extension, both are meant to help with chamfers.
could you show making printable tank based on blueprint . please pretty please
That would be a super fun model to make. Very long, but fun.
This helped a lot, thanks!
Is solid inspector extension free?
It sure is!
@@SketchUp thanks for the reply!
