Arrived here on a cruise ship and spent a couple of hours wandering along the seafront and desperate for a swim ,but it was too busy. Walked up to a large imposing square where there were horse drawn carriages then down to a magnificent shopping mall and back via a castle to the port.
Sounds like a nice day trip. There are not too many places to swim there in that area. There are more down the coast a bit.

Are there any rooms you can explore in the castle or do they just allow access to the overlooks?
there is a small musemum inside the castle
The entrance is free(for now) but if you take a guided tour (it costs 10 euros) they will show you some rooms as well, but the castle itself is amazing. Naples it's full of castle but my favorite one it's called Sant'Elmo, always in Naples

Good question! :) There are some, but Italy just doesn't have much wildlife..including seaguls. I am from the Pacific NW and am used to seeing deer and other wildlife daily. Here in Italy, all I see are lizards, a few birds, sometimes sheep and goats, and packs of stray dogs. I don't remember ever seeing a chipmunk or squirrel here. It's weird. I'm glad you're enjoying the walks! Many more to come!

Hey David, I'm glad you can see the channel growing over time. I sell mugs...but only two so far..and one, my friend bought as a joke. :) I'm working on it though. I don't plan on quitting my full time job so this will probably remain a hobby but it has been fun to see it grow and have such a positive impact on so many people. I am open to any ideas on how to expand this channel even further. I have some ideas..but I'm a bit limited due to my work schedule.
