There is a full band version. I believe it's on their Greatest Hits album. But, it doesn't have the same feel or impact that this version does.(It kind of ruins the song imo). I love this version much better.

I actually prefer the full band version. More lyrics and it’s a team effort instead of just two of the band members.

I saw them perform this song live back , when it came out in 94

Yes, you should at least give the full band version a listen. Love them both.

They drop an album this year. Really surprised of this ! Can't say that they replace Geoff Tate but the singer is very good and the songs are interesting 👌

I can't listen to this new version of "Queensryche" honestly. No Tate, no DeGarmo, no Rockenfield...It's not the same anymore.

It’s a different Queensryche with Todd LaTorre singing instead of Geoff Tate but their music is still terrific.

There's a live version of this song which starts out like the studio but the rest of the band joins in.
Here's to your Queensryche journey 🥂🍻 Cin Cin

This is a bit more raw, vocally, which fit the lyrics quite well. On the "Promised Land" album they struck out in different directions, musically and production-wise, but there's still that dramatic intensity that is woven through all their songs.
I believe that was Chris DeGarmo on piano. Beautifully done! I've heard the full-band version of this, which is good, but I think with just vocals and piano the emotion can be felt much more.
VM, you caught a lot of the nuances that ebb and flow through this song. Enjoyable reaction! See you next time, 😜

Queensryche and Shinedown have some of the most beautiful ballads for hard rock/metal bands. Queensryche’s lyrics are really deep. Good luck trying to decipher them.
