How did you do the engine mounts mate? Im trying to put a 2.1 in my grand vitara and the 2.0 td engine mounts i have wont work also what alternator set up did you use?
Stock samurais, vitaras, and jimnys 3, got diesels from the Factory of Santana, the 1.9 xud9 from Peugeot Citroen the k9k 1.9 from Renault & the 1.5 diesel Renault, all of them are adapted to go on suzukis gearboxes by and adapter engine->gearbox
Please could you confirm what bellhousing and clutch you used. I have the same conversion on the horizon and would like to know the best parts to use "out the box"
@@jaydnp. looks like it has better fuel consumption than the stock engine, i presume? My father had this car but its the 2WD version (Suzuki Sidekick). I had a dream that i could emgine swapped that engine because its soo thirsty

Hi there, serious enquiry here, are you still using the stock Zook gearbox? and what diesel engine is this? is it from an Isuzu?
Factory vitara gearbox with commercial bellhousing, engine is xud11 2.1 turbo out of 406 Peugeot
this engines supposed be for a fwd vehicle right? how'd you go with converting it to rwd/4wd
